    Tom Sheffield is a professor in high-tech engineering at the University City. His assistant is a robot by the name of Hal 2001. The year is 2075. Most tasks are done by AI robots these days. Hal, with the help of his friend “Dragnet” – a drone robot – discovers that two of Tom’s students are selling manufacturing data for a prosthetic hand to the International Espionage (IE) Agency in Washington D.C. But when these same students are found dead in a park of University City, Tom is angry. He goes to D.C. under IE escort where he designs a large prototype “hand” that would serve in ‘lifting’ and ‘throwing’ enemy vehicles off the ground. Hal, however, does not provide the right codes to Tom. The prototype does not work, which lets Tom off the hook. The Pentagon will have to find someone else to design their machines of war. When Tom asks who killed the students, IE Agent Jackson hesitates to give him an answer. Will Tom and Hal ever find out who kill those two young people?
