    Sunday Adelaja is the founder and senior pastor of the Embassy of God in Kiev Ukraine and the author of more than 300 books which are translated in several languages including Chinese, German, French, Arabic, etc. A fatherless child from a 40 hut village in Nigeria, Sunday was recruited by communist Russia to ignite a revolution, instead he was saved just before leaving for the USSR where he secretly trained himself in the Bible while earning a Master’s degree in journalism. By age thirty-three he had built the largest church in Europe. Today, his church in Kiev has planted over a thousand daughter churches in over fifty countries of the world. Right now they plant four new churches every week. He is known to be the only person in the world pastoring a cross cultural church where 99% of his twenty five thousand members are white Caucasians. His work has been widely reported by world media outlets like Washington Post, The wall street Journal, Forbes, New York times, Associated Press, Reuters, CNN, BBC, German, Dutch, French National television, etc. Pastor Sunday had the opportunity to speak on a number of occasions in the United Nations. In 2007 he had the rare privilege of opening the United States Senate with prayers. He has spoken in the Israeli Knesset and the Japanese parliament along with several other countries. Pastor Sunday is known as an expert in national transformation through biblical principles and values. Pastor Sunday is happily married to his “princess’ Pastor Bose Adelaja.       Dear friends, when you look around the world today, you would see that some people are enjoying a very successful and beautiful life while others are barely struggling to survive. Some have achieved so much and have made a name for themselves whereas their contemporaries, on the other hand, have nothing for which they could be recognized or celebrated. Some came into the future they once envisaged and saw the reality of the dreams and desire they had many years before, while others came in only to see a shadow and a direct opposite of the good future they once envisaged. One would begin to wonder why there exists so great a difference between people; why some achieve their goals and others do not. Why do some people have a greater future than others with whom they grew up together within the same timeline? The reason, my friends, is that those who are enjoying a great future now understood a secret that their counterparts didn’t understand. And that secret is that your tomorrow depends on the actions you take today They discovered early in life that the future of everyman depends on what he does with his present. Hence, they took the necessary actions that gave them the great future they are enjoying today. Dear friends, today is the tomorrow you talked about yesterday and tomorrow will become the future you are talking about today. But we have a great privilege, my friends. A privilege that is available to each and every one of us. This privilege is the fact that every man has the freedom to choose his own future. Everyone chooses his own life. It is however shocking to find that despite the fact that all men have the freedom and privilege to decide their own future, we don’t see all men living in success and greatness in reality. Most people have chosen their future unknowingly to them. If you are struggling with life now, you perhaps chose it. If your life is not as beautiful and successful as you envisaged, it is because you chose it. You chose it by your actions. Everyman’s future depends on the actions he takes today. The actions you take now is what will determine how your future will be like.

      I have written this book to tell you that contrary to what many people think are the determinants of a man’s future, you alone determine how your future will be like. You have the power and the freedom to build the future of your choice. That power is embedded in the actions you take today. Your tomorrow is dependent above all else, on the actions you take today. You can become whatever you want to become. You can achieve whatever you want to achieve. All you need is to take the right actions. You need to work hard to create the tomorrow of your dreams. Having a great future is possible with you. You can build a beautiful and a successful future for yourself, be it in your finances, your career, your business, your marriage and in whatever area of life you so desire. This book has been written to show you how to build the tomorrow of your dreams. I implore you to read through and apply all the principles that are there in and by them create the wonderful future you desire. See you at the top! See you in the future of your dreams!

      Chapter One

      Your Tomorrow Depends On What You Do Today

      I have heard a lot of people talk about how good they want their future to be like. How wealthy and successful they intend to become in the future. I believe you must have at one point in your life, envisaged how you would like your tomorrow to be like. The kind of houses you would like to stay in and the kind of cars you would like to drive. I think everyone of us must have desired success and greatness at some stage of our lives. Most people while growing up usually have a picture of how great they would like to become when they finally become adults. I have heard most people quote Oprah Winfrey by saying:

      When I look into the future, it's so bright it burns my eyes.

      However, it is unfortunate that not all of those dreams and desires eventually come to reality in the future. Most people who say that the future is so bright that it burns their eyes when they look at it probably do not have any plan to make it that bright, neither are they doing anything presently to fulfill that dream. In fact, research has proven that 92 percent of people do not achieve their goals. That means only 8 percent of people do. Who are these 8 percent? What do they do differently from the rest? What makes them special? That is what I want to teach you in this book. My intention is to help you become part of the 8 percent who achieve their goals for the future. There are many reasons why most people do not achieve their dreams while a few others do and the title of this book summarizes all of them: Your tomorrow depends on the actions you take today.

      Most of the people who thought their future would be a very successful one have come into that future only to realize the direct opposite of what they had envisaged. They have suddenly realized that the life they are living now is far different from what they once envisaged while growing up. Some others who desired a great future actually had their dreams come true. The question, therefore, is How come some envisaged a great future but never achieved it while others who envisaged the same thing got their vision fulfilled? That is exactly the question I seek to answer through this book. It is not enough to desire a better tomorrow. You must also know how to actualize it and make it a reality. It is good to want to have a great future, but until you know how to achieve that goal, your wish or desire may never happen. Join me as I begin to expose the secrets to having a great future.

      Your Actions Determine Your Future

      Dear friends, have you ever wondered what determines the future of a person? Have you ever thought of the reason why some people become great while others do not, even though we all desire greatness while growing up as kids and young adults? The answer can be found in this revelation Your tomorrow only depends on the actions you take today. What I mean is that your future only depends on the actions you take today.

      Some people think that their future is dependent on their talents. Others think that their tomorrow will be successful because they pray and yet another group of people thinks that their future will be great because a prophet told them so. Unfortunately, the future of a person is not determined by prophesy. It is not how talented a person is that determines his or her future. Contrary to what many people think, it is not even prayer that determines a person’s future. The only thing that determines the future of anyone of us is the action we take today. Nothing else determines your future and tomorrow like what you are doing today. We can tell if a person will have a great future, by what he or she is doing today. We can predict your future just by looking at your actions today, and we will perhaps be right about it. Therefore, if you are expecting to have a great future just because you know how to pray or because you are talented, I am afraid your expectations may not happen until your actions justify those expectations. Even if a prophet tells you that, your future is going to be great, if you do not take the right actions to bring that to pass, you may never see any greatness in your life tomorrow.

      Everyone who ever enjoyed a great future did so only because of the actions they took in the past. History is full of people who became successful but thanks to what they did with their past years. I am going to buttress my point by sharing the story of Jerry Rice with you according to biography.com.

      Hall of Fame football wide receiver, Jerry Rice played for the San Francisco 49ers, and he is widely considered the greatest ever to play his position.

      Jerry Lee Rice was born October 13, 1962, in Starkville, Mississippi. He is one of eight children, and his father was a hardworking bricklayer. His father employed Rice and his brothers as his assistants during the hot Southern summers. It was very tedious and tiring work, but it laid the foundation for Rice’s enduring and hardworking lifestyle. Rice himself later came to be grateful for it. It taught me the meaning of hard work, he said.

      Early on, Rice proved himself a talented runner, often running back and forth on the long dirt road in front of his house. However, it was not until high school that Rice discovered football. As the story goes, Rice had skipped classes one day and ran into an assistant principal. After sprinting away from him, Rice was eventually reprimanded. His principal was intrigued by the speed at which he ran. He then gave him two options, to either join the school’s football team or be punished. The school’s football coach soon got notified about Rice’s running speed and went ahead to put him in pads and had him line up as a receiver.
