Introduction
About six years ago, I began meditating on a regular basis. I found that afterward I felt more relaxed, and my concentration greatly improved. Through meditation, I was able to connect more deeply to spirit and the angels. The angels guided me to write this book because they felt it was very important for children to stay connected.
I have noticed that there are many self-help books for adults. As a first-grade teacher, I was always looking for ways to educate my students. When my students, as well as my own children, would tell me that they were having trouble sleeping or were feeling anxious about tests and meeting new people, I felt that teaching them to meditate would help them become grounded, focused, and relaxed. I started an after-school program called Magical Journey Kids. I wrote magical journey meditations and followed up each meditation with a sharing time and a craft. The class became very popular, and I received many requests to write these meditations in a book. I also used my meditations with my entire first-grade class
