Descripción

Christian Maloney almost didnt make it into this world. Two miscarriages tried to send him into the Lords arms without him ever seeing his parents. Andrew and Christy Maloney thought they were losing their baby. She would miscarry, and he would die. No! That cant be right, thats not what God would want. Hed raise the child up, stop this bleeding, sew up her womb. They believed in that kind of God. But the baby wasnt making it. They couldnt accept thatnot after feeling him kick in there, not after seeing his little face on the ultrasound, not after hearing his heartbeat. He cant die, they said, we wont let him!

That proclamation starts Eight Weeks with No Water, an emotional, true tale of the Lords sustaining grace working through faith to go against the odds and bring a remarkable little boy into the world for Gods glory and honor. It is a testimony of fiery trials with compelling insight that proves the walk of faith is worth the reward of faith!

EIGHT WEEKS WITH NO WATER

A FEW KEY POINTS

PRAYER OF AGREEMENT

PRAYER OF SALVATION

PRAYER FOR BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT

"I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

(Philippians 4:12-13)

To our wonderful sons, Connor and Christian, the true wealth of our lives and the inheritors of so rich a heritage in God’s miraculous power that we, as parents, cannot but thank the Lord for His mighty deeds; and to all who have worn out their knees on these boys’ behalves, especially the founders of our heritage, their grandparents. We love you, and thank you!

EIGHT WEEKS WITH NO WATER

Our second son, Christian, almost didn’t make it into this world. Two miscarriages almost sent him into the Lord’s arms without ever seeing his parents, but God spared him. As this writing will show you, our God sustained him in the midst of horrible circumstances as a sign and wonder, to the fulfillment of the purpose Christian has on his little life.

His mother and I are writing this testimony to encourage your faith that nothing is impossible with God, especially concerning those miraculous gifts that He gives us: our children. In all things, while recounting this true tale, we have taken the greatest pains to be as accurate as possible in details surrounding this trying experience, and any small oversights are completely unintentional as it is our sincerest desire to present this sustaining miracle without embellishment or inaccuracy, that it may bring the greatest glory to the only Person to whom the glory is due, the Lord Jesus Christ.

It is with humble, reverential fear unto the Lord that we present this writing to you, in no way to point to ourselves as special people; but to point to the provisions of the cross, that faith is rewarded by divine intervention on our behalves, even in the midst of weakness and incompleteness. We are not mountain-movers in the faith, just thirty-somethings who love our kids dearly and who witnessed a miracle over a four month period of time that we could never deny.

In every aspect of this story, we sincerely endeavor to glorify God for His amazing goodness, and we trust in that goodness that your faith will be encouraged because of this testimony. As this story has been shared to many across the nation, we have heard awesome reports of the Lord intervening on behalf of parents who, too, were struggling with complications in pregnancy, perhaps life-threatening to mother and child both; some who were unable to have children at all but who, through faith, began to press into that realm of God’s supernatural presence where all things are possible in Christ who strengthens us in the midst of testing.

We do not have the complete answers on why certain struggles come to some people, but we do know it is biblical fact that all of God’s children are pressed, tested and refined in fire, so that the purity and beauty of the Lord’s ultimate power and grace can shine forth. The purpose of any miracle is to establish the rule of God in individual people’s lives and to attest of His dominion over any circumstance we may face.

Be encouraged, if you’re facing these kinds of challenges, especially with your children: you’re doing it right, and the Lord is not letting you down. Let this true account uplift you and challenge you to press into a greater encounter with Jesus where miracles occur and your life, your child’s life, is never the same!
