- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I really found the online charts and the additional resources helpful. This came at just the right time for me and I was really excited to dig deep and connect with a positive message. It is a great workbook for working out your stuff. I know that the author had other books geared to other self help type items. But what really grabbed me about this was how applicable it is across subjects/areas of concern. I'll definitely be picking this up again and again. Its a good touchstone to stay grounded, especially if you're restarting aspects of your life.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I enjoyed that this book was distinctly different from other personal development books. Although necessary pieces for becoming aware of yourself were present, the presentation was not standard.I found it rewarding to go through the exercises in the book because they made me think about myself and where I am as well as where I intend to go. I'm at a place in my life where I must figure out what comes next for me and this book helped with that. I should add that this was not at all an expectation of mine from reading the book description.I tend to read a lot of personal and professional development books and I found that this one was on the easier side to get through. It wasn't filled with a bunch of facts or jargon, just tips and guides to help you move through. Although you could argue that the other stuff adds credibility, it does make a book more difficult to parse.I don't think this book is for everyone, but I do think that anybody who sees this book and thinks it might be interesting and/or useful should give it a try. I believe that it provides an opportunity to learn more about the self and the interaction between self and surroundings.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Solutuionaries is a self help/self development book, aimed for those entering the workplace or trying to move up in the workplace. Each chapter ha some activities t help guide readers.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Wow! This the most powerful catalyst for positive personal, community, national, and global change I have ever seen. After a lifetime of public service in education, advocacy, and community involvement, I can safely say that if workbook widely distributied and the principles applied the world would be transformed in the best of all possible ways. Great resource filled with great contemporary resources! Every senior community should have a class on social activism that utilizes this book!

So many today want to be part of the new solutions our world so desperately needs. We are not satisfied with naming the problems, we want answers and fresh ideas strong enough to impassion others to bring their best to the table and forge new paths together. Linda Lattimore, in her book Solutionairies, has created a map to guide and clarify, not only your deepest intentions, but also who you are so you can find your own Solutionary peers. This book crosses generational lines. It can be successfully used by the young and the old who are driven to make a difference. This book should be on the shelf of every job recruiter, psychologist, school counselor and in every household with anyone about to embark into the world for the first time or the twentieth time.

Working with students eager to make a difference and be the change they want to see in this world often reveals the lack of literature specifically dedicated to offer a systematic approach to this common desire. Linda Lattimore’s Solutionaries fills this void and reminds us, with a familiar and approachable tone, that living a happier more meaningful life is actually possible, regardless of our profession, skills or area of expertise.

About the Author
Do not be dismayed by the brokenness of the world.
All things break. And all things can be mended.
Not with time, as they say, but with intention.
So go. Love intentionally, extravagantly, unconditionally.
The broken world waits in darkness for the light that is you.
— L. R. Knost
Foreword
I believe you need to be hungry for the pathway to your greatness, to your dream and your destiny. By that, I mean you have to be hungry enough to make what you desire happen, no matter what.
When you have goals and dreams, there will be some resistance. An airplane cannot fly without the resistance of air. You can’t learn good horsemanship by riding a tame horse. And the harder the battle, the sweeter the victory.
Sometimes that resistance comes from within us, speared on by uncertainty. Other times, it comes from the outside, prompted by others’ opinions or financial limitations.
Yet for many people, as they look around at the world today, they see all that’s wrong with it and wonder why someone doesn’t do something about it. They often miss seeing that they are the ones who can make things better if only they were willing to apply their gifts and talents to the causes and issues they’re passionate about. They are the missing piece to the puzzle!
Since you’ve picked up this book, Solutionaries, by my friend, Linda Lattimore, my guess is, that doesn’t describe you. You want to get off the bench line of life, to step into life. You want to
