About this ebook

There is someone everywhere who shares my experience with being raped, and if they have not, they know someone who has. This book is about regaining a sense of normalcy to life after having that experience. "We know that the act of molestation cannot be changed but the bitter unforgiveness carried can be. We ask that you give the courage and the strength to overcome. You said that, nay, in all things we are more than conquerors and we hold you to your word".

    A Victim's Victory - Vachelle Jemison

Beloved, after long deliberation I write you with grand expectation of encouraging you. For a long while now, I have been mortified by the things that I have experienced and embarrassed by my own testimony. As a child, I wanted to be the thirteenth disciple when I grew up. My mother held on to the scholastic writings from my childhood for some time, and that was my encouragement to write to you now. I have spent many sleepless nights pondering as to why me. There was so much hurt and pain consuming me. I found this series of events to be the very thing that was molding me. In order to achieve becoming the thirteenth apostle, a process had to take place. Each of the twelve Apostles had an issue (a process) before they had a true encounter with the Christ. The encounter with Christ was the validating of one’s process.

I read an awesome article that gave more clarity to the decision to write you. I had questioned whether I was qualified for starters and lastly could I encourage another with just the testimony of little ole me. God doesn’t call the qualified; He qualifies the called. What would make me qualified? The Holy Scripture has been passed down through several generations and I have accumulated the following about various individuals that has given much clarity as to God qualifying the called.

    and Vachelle was suicidal…

Now the artistic view that was demonstrated from the fore mention is God took an imperfect person to use him/her for His perfect will. God is the same even now. God can take a person that is so far left and bring them into such newness that they are incapable of bearing the same name. Here is a brief overlook of what I mean.

These changed names and changed people are prime examples of Ephesians 3: 20, 21, Now to Him Who, by the action of His power that is at work within us, is able to carry out His purpose and do super-abundantly far over and above all that we dare ask or think, infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes or dreams. To Him be glory. (Amplified Bible)

Mark 5:19 - Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.

Though I have been mortified due to the things that I have experienced and embarrassed by my own testimony, the testimony is what qualifies me. Overcoming though faith, certified me. There is so much power in a testimony. And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony; and they loved not their life even unto death. John, the Apostle, while in exile on the Isle of Patmos, wrote the book of Revelation where he described a war taking place. Michael and the angels of God were at war with Satan and the angels of darkness. Michael and the angels defeated Satan by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony. We, together, will embark a short journey where testimony, again, shall manifest great power. Being molested is not the easiest pill in the world to swallow, and it can be quite difficult to overcome if one embraced unforgiveness and bitterness. Moving on is difficult because the flight that you have boarded to take you to the next level has too much luggage. Due to the weight limitation there is a delay in your take off to increase. BUT GOD. Let us pray.

    Eternal Father in heaven,

We thank you for this opportunity to dwell together though these words God, knowing that you are a way- maker, a heavy load barer, our glory, and the lifter up of our heads. Lord we know that you chose us to bare what seems to be an unbearable cross, but you said Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. God, we ask that you grant humility and strength for those that were chosen to share this testimony. You said in your word, Lord, that two are better than one, for they can help each other succeed. I ask you right now Jesus that collective we are allowed to assist one another in overcoming, finding forgiveness, making peace with those that have wronged us. Lord, we come casting our cares upon you, seeking a release, a miracle, a great work from you in us. These and other blessings we ask in Jesus name. Amen

As we take this journey, I will show that poetry is the best way I must set myself free of emotions that try and weigh me down. I will share with your poems and other writings that I have collected over the years that have helped me to bear this cross. What I have found is that when God is moving Satan is as well. So, when God is taking you through the process to prepare you for your future, then Satan is quick to remind you of your past to delay your arrival. This method creates a fear in you and delays you from reaching your next blessing.

I will admit the process is never easy and takes a great deal of discipline. An undisciplined soldier during the process extends the training and delays qualification in the area you are being tested in. Everyone has a story to tell. This is why I don’t think its ok to judge people with a single glance. You don’t know the story.

The process is the foundation of the deliverance message. When it comes to overcoming molestation, there is so much to explore. There are so many things to take into consideration. These things come by fasting and praying. Deliverance is defined as to rescue from moral corruption or evil; salvation. Deliverance is not for the molester in this aspect. It is for the one that was molested. To be delivered is to be liberated. You want to be made free from the mentality of being the victim and not the victor.

For You have delivered my life from death, yes, and my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of life and of the living. Psalm 56: 13

Take your problems and write it down

You can help someone else to live

I want to tell you my story

So that we can all heal

Took from a childhood of dreams To be a victim of rape

Mind filled with thoughts of suicide

My own life just couldn’t take

    Found myself with a child

And not a friend to hold my hand

No one knows the whole word

    Nor tried to understand

Turned on by so called friends Family was no help too

    Living life always depressed

Is how I spent my youth

Cried my fair share of tears

    Walked with such troubled faith

Lost the few that I loved

And gave up on the wait

Lord where do I go from here

    Not another tear to cry

    And even if I did

There’s no one to wipe my eyes

Just want to hear you say well done

    You ’re the
