About this ebook

Philosophy student at U.C.A (Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina). Right now: Pannaturalist, Vitalist and believer in God but nontheless in the importance of the seek of truth. Mission: Merge Philosophy and Literature, create a friendly environment where people can philosophically inquire its beliefs and surroundings, and to avoid any sort of difficult terminology and language where only someone who is guided and knowledgeable of the subject's terms could understand. We are here to think and be thought, hence we are always trying to uncarry that burden which is to face the question "How important are we? And why am I here? What is nature, how dominant am I in this realm, in this reality?". Things like this, are what befuddles the human being since he was asked "So, how was your day?".

Semillas y Soliloquios - Felipe A. Matti
What is philosophy? What is the meaning behind such craft and art form? As one can sense in the stasis that this questioning leaves on one’s mind, there is no verbatim that stands against such strike. A trail of tantrum is the remain of a scramble of a rhapsody of emotions. And there is where our love of knowledge stands foot; is that taste of secrecy and fulfillment that makes us wonder if a limit can be reached, if it is our objective.
And we will fail in such task; we will feel miserable and keen to surrender. But let me tell you young minds, within this quest there is nothing but a spirit in a journey to be humbled.
Why do we fail you may ask, why can't we achieve that security Descartes leaned towards, why can't a methodic doubt save us from our damnation as humans. And why can't we doubt of everything, filter our emotions and carry on with only our senses as a fellow Hume would suggest.
But philosophy does not rely on that certainty, because the truth my friends is that as Jaspers would enlighten us, it is not but a path we rumble on, where we see at distance something we idiotically and desperately want, thus, (Sophia) knowledge.
Even in our grasp of that everlasting intension that is to fathom the answers to the universe questions, the certainty that will be achieved then falls under our own inquiry. Our damnation is to always try to reach that level of knowledge that will never stop bugging our mind, because it is the main inquiry that we are asked, why do we exist and what is within our essence that allows us to find those questions. The sole purpose of being able to make those observations is the main prop of philosophy, thus, our main flaw. We will never as human beings stop trying to fathom and being concussed by our own ignorance as we observe the certainty we achieve to crumble and fall, being crippled solely by our infinite concern to find all the answers. We will never stop questioning and being questioned, and that is the core of philosophy.
To fathom is not only the essence of the art, but ours too. There is nothing our mind, reason, soul, Intellect, senses won't try to penetrate, comprehend. But, and there is always one in this task, we will never reach that wisdom we dream of. The beauty of it all is our attempts to create answers, as Baruc would suggest it relies on be and advocate of God; as well as it would be the ascetism in Schopenhauer, as it would be the fire in Heraclitus. However my friends, the answer comes from within ourselves, from the song to life itself we perform, from those chantings that nature gifts our stupid mind and we can't recognize anymore.
Please, pry open your third eye, your soul, that breath of movement, of tendency we have towards knowledge. Never back down from being a human, from your own essence, discover, try to discover. Fulfill that hunger that makes our noisy minds to irritate and scratch itself.
There is nothing more beautiful than discovering what is behind our own backs, what stands and prevails in this beautiful world, take care of nature, because she will spit us and suffer our idiosyncrasy as never before. Never forget your relationship with this world, as Hegel would teach us, is our essence. Never forfeit the path, take always the darkest one, where is light that can only happen, be humble, have integrity as Sheller would explain us. Bend the envelope, embrace life, our desire to go on until our last wind scapes into a higher state of consciousness. Push the bottoms of our own barrier; find reward in what has already being gifted to us.
Praise the sun, life, soul, mind. Smile back, kneel down to the rain and bow down to the wind, feel pride over your achievements and never stop trying. Don't get pushed back by the harshness of it all; don't be submitted by our flaw. Prevail; stay strong even when the floor cracks and mountains erode. Respect, find light. It will be hard, tedious and our heart will always be reluctant to accomplish our mission. Don't underestimate yourselves my brothers and sisters.
This is what philosophy has taught me, follow that smoke, there is fire behind the first door, there is light. And as Jack London would teach us all, fire is life.
Come and lean towards the right path, I've just began my expedition.
-Pst! Bosco, si me extiendo mucho detenme.
Buena vida, ¿no?
