About this ebook
The visualizations outlined in this book can be extremely effective, but are meant to be used in conjunction with an action plan. This means for example, that if I visualize myself being a millionaire, the money won't just magically fall in my lap. The visualization however, would keep me motivated to take the appropriate steps to becoming a millionaire.
Unlike other self help books, this one does not make bold promises that it can instantly turn your life around for the better. Making life improvements is a daunting task, and the visualizations outlined in this book will help you get there, but ultimately, it is up to you to act and step out of your comfort zone.

INTRODUCTION
Welcome! If you're reading this, chances are that you're interested in creative visualization, and are looking for some reference to guide you through the process. Look no further, as the title suggests, You Are There: A Complete Guide of Creative Visualizations for Relieving Stress, Manifesting your Desires, and Treating Fear and Phobias , is a comprehensive guide book that provides a nice variety of visualizations to suit your needs.
Whatever your purpose is for visualizing, be it relieving stress, attracting opportunities, or confronting a specific phobia, You Are There provides a scenario for you to place yourself in your mind's eye.
This book is divided into three sections. The first contains visualizations for anyone needing a quick stress reliever. They are especially useful after coming home from a stressful day of work, or if you just need to momentarily escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Section two is ideal for anyone working towards a specific goal. Whether you're a believer in the law of attraction or not, section two has scenarios that will get you thinking positively, and motivate you into taking the right action. Section three is all about phobias. If you have a certain fear, this section allows you to confront it safely in your mind. This will build confidence and prepare you to face your phobia in real life.
You may also notice that this book is completely pictureless, which may seem unusual for a book that is suppose to be about visualizations. This is done on purpose. The key is for you to use your own imagination based on how you envision the scenario, and not as how I see it.
Let me also stress that while these visualizations can be extremely effective, they are not magic pills. They won't make you %100 stress free for life, opportunities won't be knocking on your door right away, and your difficult problems won't just instantly go away. However, if you use them in conjunction with an action plan, and that means getting your butt off the chair and doing any necessary work, then you'll be amazed at your progress.
If you're reading this book, it's probably because there is some area of your life that you want improved, and it's my sincere hope that there is something within these pages that will help you make that improvement possible. Good luck, and have fun experimenting!
SECTION 1: ESCAPE YOUR REALITY
This section is titled Escape Your Reality
, named so because it provides you a temporary getaway from your hectic life, and places you wherever you imagine yourself to be. The multitude of brief visualizations you are about to delve into are meant to inspire your heart and ignite your creativity.
If you're like the average American citizen, chances are that you work a dull 9 to 5 job 40 plus hours a week. Everyday you are hounded by the constant blare of traffic, and strangers chatting away on their cell phones. These sounds are a reminder of your constant routine. If the pressures of city and work life ever become too much, then perhaps you need a vacation. Not a physical one, as that would be costly, and how would you ever find the time off from work? What you are about to read offers an alternative that is free and can be done anywhere and anytime, even if all you have is five minutes.
These mental vacations can be done while meditating, while sitting in a warm bath with your eyes closed, or during a work break. Personally, I like to have one before bed, as sometimes it can be carried over into my dreams. I'm confident you'll be amazed at what these escapes from reality will do for you inside and out. Everyone needs to unwind now and then, and I believe a good mental vacation soothes your well being, as well as your mind and soul.
It is my hope that these escapes from reality will give you the inspiration to run wild with your imagination. As Albert Einstein once quoted, imagination is more important than knowledge
. So allow yourself to experiment with the visualizations outlined in this section. You may find one that you particularly like, and stick to that one, or you may rotate between visualizations depending on your mood. Just have fun with it, and remember there is no right or wrong way of doing it.
SUNSET BY THE BEACH
You are walking barefoot, and you can feel every grain as the soles of your feet make contact with the pure white sand. You turn your gaze towards the sun just as it begins to set. You appreciate the warmth as its rays of light penetrates your skin. Just below the horizon of the sun you see a flock of seagulls, and you hear them caw, their calls signaling the end of daylight.
You continue your walk and scan the area, kelp and seaweed lay strewn in the sand. Your gaze locks with the setting sun and the vast ocean. You are so immersed by the brief moment of tranquility that the rest of time comes to a stand still. This moment is abruptly halted as the laughter of children can be heard off a short distance. You turn in their direction, and see two small children, laughing like there is no tomorrow as they chase and kick sand at each other. They could be your own children, if you have any. Either way, you sense their ecstasy as they enjoy this natural wonder in their own little ways. You return your stare
