"The Lord chooses whom He chooses to accomplish whatever work needs to be done regardless of how insignificant they may feel. He is looking for people who are willing to step out of their comfort zone and be obedient to His call regardless of the impossible."
"...The purpose of the fire is to drive out what is unrighteous. The carnal way of thinking will be burnt up but you won’t; but as long as you refuse to change, you’ll be held to that fire until you decide to let go what is flammable."
"Having a sound mind also means you have self-control. When God’s power and love is absent in someone’s life, so is self-control. Put power and love together and you have self-control."
Life is a journey - a journey in which God spoke His Word and desires to "purpose" His Word in our lives; but it's up to us to surrender to His purpose regardless what we face. We have all been faced with some of life's impossibilities at one time or another; but there is always an answer to confront those seeming impossibilities: the surrender of our hearts to believe and speak God's Word regardless what we face. "For as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he." (Proverbs 23:7)

It is interesting to note the different thoughts and emotions we all experience when something of out our control steps into our lives. I truly believe that during those times the measure of our trust in the Lord is gauged on how we react to life’s seeming impossibilities. It is during those times He desires change in our thought life as we face life’s issues. Our vision and perception has to change to the mind of the Lord. We see what we see, not how He sees.

Christianity is more than having fire insurance. Christianity can be living a life filled with the knowledge that we are called to be over comers of life’s impossibilities regardless of what circumstances come our way. Let’s face it: life can be harsh and even brutal; but the Word of God is the final authority establishing His purpose and will over those negative circumstances.

This book was not only written for the sake of encouraging, but for the sake of arming and equipping the Christian to face life’s impossibilities with the fortitude and attitude of God’s Word; and to take us to a new place of thinking and believing as we confront the impossible by trusting in God.

It’s that trust that takes a small loaf of bread and a few fish – looks at the impossible –

God’s Word: His Record of Victory

Daniel Rodriguez! Come on down!

In 1991, I was on the TV game show The Price Is Right and won over $17,000 in trips and prizes. As soon as I arrived on Contestant’s Row the camera focused on me; and although you can’t hear me, you could see me mouth the words with excitement, I can’t believe this!

One of the three trips I won on that day was to Cancun, Mexico. Although the trips were all paid for, I still needed spending money for food and entertainment. Out of the top of my head, I asked the Lord for a financial blessing of $750 for what I thought I would need on my trip to Cancun.

As the day for my departure got closer, it appeared that God was not going to meet my need. I took a $1,000 from savings, paid some bills and headed to the airport with what money remained. At the airport, an airline employee told me that the departing flight was full. I asked to speak to the front desk manager to see if there was anything that could be done. I was
