    Prologue

    My name is Jenny and this is my story. You may think I'm just a naive woman who was too quick to trust a mysterious man who appeared in my life out of nowhere. I know it all sounds crazy, the thought of a soulmate and the talk of werebears and vampires but I know they are real. I've seen them with my own eyes and touched them with my own hands. I chose to trust in Logan and his supernatural secrets. How can we ever find love and magic if we don't believe in them?

    Cool water flowed in the moonlight. The grizzly watched and waited within the river under the cover of darkness. His prey was unaware of the crushing teeth coming to claim its life. A quick snap of his powerful jaws and the meal was in his mouth. The hungry bear devoured and swallowed the large, tasty salmon. He suddenly shifted his animal fur back to human flesh. Logan, Lord of the Bear Clan, enjoyed an evening snack. Wet and naked, he returned to his handcrafted log cabin.

    He'd satisfied his hunger for food but his need for sex was unfulfilled. The animal in him desired to sleep, feed, and fuck, and not much else. His human side craved companionship, love, and family. Living alone in his private home in the woods was not easy for him. There were plenty of fish in the nearby river but he missed the comforts of a mate. After hundreds of years, he'd still not found the right woman to start a family with.
