      I enjoyed this right up until Brogan decides he wants his family back. The author never made me feel that Brogan was truly sorry for humiliating his wife for close to a year. While he might not have had sex with the other woman, he certainly did pretty much everything else. He also escorted the other woman around and held her in higher regard than he did his wife in front of everyone. Even when she tells him just how much he hurt her, he turns his leaving/cheating on her around to be her fault. After that, I couldn’t enjoy the rest of this story. Katie forgave him way too easily for everything he put her through. I honestly think he’ll do that again to her in another five years time when the newness of their reconciliation wears off. Disappointing, rushed ending.

      Boring. The only characters with any moxie were the children. No wonder the husband wanted some excitement—it was all dry, uneventful, and boring.
