About this ebook

In the 3rd and last book of the earlier Tribulation Trilogy series, the Tribulation ends with Jesus and His angels returning to the clouds to rapture and resurrect the Saints just prior to the terrible seven plague judgments that were released on the Last Day against the Antichrist and all of the unbelievers on the earth. Afterwards, the Lord with His saints, descended to the earth to destroy all its inhabitants, except for the Antichrist and false prophet who were thrown into the Lake of Fire, and Satan who was bounded and thrown into the pit. The seven trumpets and seven plagues were terrible judgments against both the earth and all unbelievers, yet this is only the beginning of God's Judgment. Now it is time for the beginning of the Judgment Seat of Christ for His saints, which will be followed a thousand years later, by the White Throne Judgment for all whose names are not written in the Book of Life. The current book is about the final judgment of all humans and its consequences, which must take place before the heavens and earth are destroyed and created anew. If you have not read the Tribulation Trilogy, it would be beneficial, but not essential, to do so before attempting to read this sequel. The three books in that series includes, ‘Birth Pangs Of The Tribulation,’ ‘Tribulation Rising,” and ‘The Unfolding Of The Great Tribulation.” I must say that the present book has been the most difficult to write of any of my books to date because of the nature of the subject. At the same time, it has also been the most exhilarating. Hope you enjoy it!

Dr. Gary Michael Epping Ph.D. received Bachelor and Graduate degrees in Business Administration, and was a University Professor for twenty-five years. During that time, he taught and published several scholarly articles about the business world. After a radical spiritual transformation at a long-running revival in the mid-1990’s, he subsequently received both Bachelor and Graduate degrees in Biblical Studies and Theology, in order to prepare himself and his family for spending eight years as missionaries in Thailand. The Epping family returned to America in 2009, and is currently living in Montana, where Michael is a minister, rancher, and writer. At this time, I want to thank my wife, Diane, for encouraging me as I wrote this new book.

    Introduction

The seven trumpets and seven plagues were terrible decrees at the end of the Tribulation, yet they were only a prelude to God's Final Judgment. After the Resurrection and Rapture, it is time for the beginning of the Judgment Seat of Christ for His saints, which will be followed a thousand years later by the White Throne Judgment for all whose names are not written in the Book of Life. Final judgment of all humanity must take place before God recreates the heavens and earth anew. In reflection, I must say that the present book has been the most difficult to write of any of my books to date because of the nature of the subject. At the same time, it has also been the most exhilarating. Hope you enjoy it!

    Chapter 1 - Judgment Begins

As George Finney made his way toward the Judgment Seat of Christ, an Angel of the Lord began to speak to the large group that had gathered outside the Temple in Jerusalem.

He said, 'Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.  Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth (ISA 43:18-19).' 'For the LORD will comfort Zion, He will comfort all her waste places; He will make her wilderness like Eden, And her desert like the garden of the LORD; Joy and gladness will be found in it, Thanksgiving and the voice of melody (ISA 51:3).' 'For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, that flow out of valleys and hills; a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey; a land in which you will eat bread without scarcity, in which you will lack nothing... When you have eaten and are full, then you shall bless the Lord your God for the good land which He has given you (DEU 8:7-10).

The angel continued, "In order to accommodate all of the saints that are gathered here for the Judgment Seat of Christ, the Lord has made many of the countries surrounding the southern and eastern portions of the Mediterranean Sea habitable. This includes land that God originally gave to Abraham, 'Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt as far as the great river the river Euphrates. The land of the Kenites, Kenizites, Kadmonites; the Hitties, Perizites, Rephaims; the Emorites, Canaanites, Girgashites and Jebusites (GEN 15:18-21),' which are the countries of Egypt Saudi Arabia, Iraqi, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and Turkey. It also includes all countries that touch the White and Blue Nile rivers, which include Uganda, South Sudan, Sudan, and Ethiopia. In addition, it contains Iran as it borders the Euphrates River. This land in effect extends from the full length of the Nile River and adjacent countries, all the way through Saudia Arabia, to the Euphrates River and adjacent countries. All of the land has been restored with springs providing water for the lush vegetation that is now growing there. The Lord has provided a wonderful place during the time of the Judgment Seat of Christ. Angels will be showing each of you to your living quarters across these lands. It is best to not venture into areas outside these borders, as the rest of the world is in desolation from the terrible destruction at the end of the Tribulation, which was wrought by the seven plagues. The air and atmosphere is so foul that the sun is but a dim glow in the reddened sky. It is as described in JER 4:23-26, 'I beheld the earth, and indeed it was without form, and void; And the heavens, they had no light.  I beheld the mountains, and indeed they trembled, And all the hills moved back and forth.  I beheld, and indeed there was no man, And all the birds of the heavens had fled.  I beheld, and indeed the fruitful land was a wilderness, And all its cities were broken down At the presence of the LORD, By His fierce anger.'

"The area to the west of the Dead Sea is where the Lake of Fire now burns. It is a place where the verdicts of the White Throne Judgment will be carried out. The Antichrist and the False Prophet have already been thrown into its fiery flames. Later, Satan, all fallen angels, all unbelievers, death, hell, and all evil will also be cast into this lake. The Dead Sea area lies in the Jordon Rift Valley. The remains of the 5 cities, including Sodom and Gomorrah, are on the West side of the Dead Sea. Large amounts of ash were created by the burning of limestone and brimstone (sulfur) during the time of Abraham and Lot. GEN 19:23 says, 'The sun had risen upon the earth when Lot entered Zoar.  Then the LORD rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the LORD out of the heavens. So He overthrew those cities, all the plain, all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground.' This area again burns with the fire that God has once again sent down from heaven.

Some of you may be wondering why you need to stand in judgment before the Lord, since you have already been given your white robes at the time of the Resurrection and Rapture. You should remember that ‘Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness (ROM 4:3).’ It is the same with all of the saints that are gathered here. You were deemed righteous by God at the end of the Tribulation, and have been credited with righteousness. With Abraham, the Lord overlooked his flaws, but with the saints that are congregated here, the Church must be without a spot or wrinkle. That is why the credit that was granted to you must be reviewed at the Judgment Seat of Christ. ‘Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish (EPH 5:25-27).’ While each of you have already received a new immortal body, your past life in your old mortal body must be examined by Jesus. Until then, the Church is not yet ready to step forth as the Bride for the wedding with the Bridegroom. As the Angel of the Lord finished speaking, a host of angels descended to help all of the people find their new homes.

Very quickly, an angel came up to the Revival Crusaders and said, Aren't you the lucky ones! You have been assigned quarters near the home of your old friend, Eli Janowitz, which is not far from the Temple. Come with me and I will show you the way.

As the group entered their new home, Moe Abadi said, I hope that George will be able to find his way here after he is finished at the Judgment seat of Christ.

Denny Seicos said, I wonder why George was called so early for judgment? There are a lot of saints that have served Christ before the time of his ministry. I guess the judgment of the saints isn't going to necessarily follow a chronological order from the time of Jesus' earthly ministry till now.

Amanda Seicos replied, Well, the Bible never specifically mentioned the order in which we would be judged, just that all saints would be judged, 'But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ (ROM 14:10).'

Wanda Wesley adds, 2 Corinthians 5:10 says, 'For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.' The rewards will be based on what we have done in our old body, good or bad.

Ron Wesley said, Those are the most popular verses about the Judgment Seat of Christ. But, I never understood how many Christian groups could leave out REV 22:12; 'And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.' This is one of the last things Jesus spoke of in the revelation to John.

Charles Edwards replied, There is a good reason that many in the Church before the Tribulation did not like this verse. It negates the theology behind a pre-tribulation rapture. You must remember pretribers believed that the Judgment Seat of Christ followed soon after the rapture at the beginning of the Tribulation. Their logic placed the Judgment Seat in heaven, since that is where they believe Jesus took the saints at its beginning. Revelation 22:12 clearly stated that Jesus comes quickly and brings His rewards with Him. If the Judgment Seat were in heaven, then there would be no need for the Lord to bring the rewards with him. As we now know, the rapture and resurrection occurred at the end of the Tribulation, and Jesus brought His rewards with him for the Judgment Seat that is now taking place here on earth. I have always wondered why so many thought the Judgment Seat would take place in heaven, since all of God's other judgments have taken place on earth.

Denny commented, It will be interesting to see what rewards George will receive, as that will give us some indication of the worth of the ministries of the Crusaders.

Moe Abadi said, We know already that our white robes are not rewards from the Judgment Seat of Christ, but were given according to our righteousness when the Lord called us onto the clouds, 'And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints (REV 19:7-8).'

After George had made his way through one of the gates into the temple area, he was told to stand directly in front of the Bema Seat that Jesus was sitting in. George, in his earthly life, had never felt such anxiety and anticipation, as he looked forward into the eyes of Jesus. The Lord appeared exactly as described in REV 19:12-13, His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

George felt as if his legs were about to buckle, as Jesus began to speak to him, You were hand picked to do my work as a worldwide evangelist before you were born. While you have accomplished much in your lifetime, there was much more that you could have done if you had fully given your life to me. Let us examine your life from beginning to end.

As Jesus finished speaking, it was as if George was in the middle of a 3-D movie, from which he could see everything that had happened in his life. Everything was so real, that he felt like he was actually in each scene. At the same time, George knew that he was only an observer rather than a participant. He saw himself as a baby growing up to become a man. Despite the fact that all of this was passing before his eyes very quickly, he was aware of every minute detail. He saw the good things he had accomplished in his life, as well as all of the bad. He saw every sin that he had ever committed, as well as every good deed. He was completely unaware of time, and had no idea of the length of this life review.

When the examination ended, George felt as if he had failed Jesus, as he was clearly a sinner throughout his entire life. As he stood with tears in his eyes, his head hung down towards the ground, and he was unable to look up towards the Lord.

After a long silence, Jesus said, I have seen not only the good in your life, but also the bad. However, all of your sins have been forgiven when you gave your life to me and became a Christian. The Bible tells us clearly that all repentant sin is tossed over the back of God and will never to be remembered. Despite your many failings, you have done much to advance the kingdom of God during your earthly ministry. He then had George kneel down before Him, as he placed a crown upon his head.

George cried, I am not worthy of such a gift!

Jesus replied, "You have been made worthy because of your faith in me. Stand and wear this crown, as it is your reward. You may wonder why you have been called forth so quickly, as there are many more souls that followed me before your ministry. I have called forth the saints according to the authority I will bestow on them.

Before you were called, the twenty-four elders from both the Old and New Testaments, were assigned to my highest counsel, from which they will reign and rule with me during the time of judgment. They will aid me as the rest of the saints are adjudicated at the Judgment Seat of Christ. They will also help prepare the cases against the unbelievers who will appear at the White Throne Judgment when the thousand years are completed. As you see, there is much work to be done before the judgment of all humanity will come to an end. You have been picked along with several other leaders to work directly under the apostle John. Likewise, all of the Crusaders from your earlier ministry have been designated to you in order to complete your work. Very soon, John will give your team assignments. Therefore, you will need to have a meeting with him soon after your judgment is completed. Do you understand everything that I have said?

George quietly replied, I understand, and will do my best to complete the assignments that will be given to me, even though I feel unworthy.

Jesus smiled and said, Your time at the Judgment Seat is finished. If you need me, all you have to do is call my name, and I will be there.

George bowed down, and then turned to walk back towards where the other Crusaders were sitting. However, no one was there!

As he looked around, an angel called out, You will find your friends near the home of your friend, Eli. George smiled and hurried off down the street where Eli's home was located. During the Tribulation, many of the homes in Jerusalem had been burned or destroyed. Yet as he walked, he saw that Jesus had restored the entire city. Soon, he could see the Crusaders being shown their quarters near Eli's home.

As he came up, Denny said, I thought you were going to the Judgment Seat of Christ?

George replied, I have been there and received my reward.

Denny declared, "I can tell by the crown you are wearing. That was sure fast, as you nearly
