Rating: 5This book was such an excellent ending to such a beautiful story. I loved to read about Hardin and Tessa so much. I loved to watch them fight and make up. Inevitably always ending up with each other! They were made for each other and nothing that happened in these four book would change that. I loved to watch them change and grow. Watch their friendships and families grow! It was something amazing to read and I’m ready sad that it’s over. Truly I did love this story. It’s one I definitely think I’ll be reading again.

The best series I have ever read! I have laughed, cried, and yelled while reading these books and my life will never be the same after reading these.
Rating: 5truly breathtaking, and beyond any words. I've read all of these books multiple times over the last almost five years. I started out with it being Harry and Tessa to Hardin and Tess, and truly love this story; their story. This will always be one of my favorite couple.

Rating: 5After watching the movie on Netflix and reading the comments about how the book is so much better, i decided to read it. I haven't been reading non fiction for a while, and was a bit sceptical. But from the first sentence on my screen, i was hooked. So much emotion and passion! I couldn't put it down. Even reading into deep in the night. Switching between reading ( thank god i have a little vacation ) and listening when i couldn't read, while doing the chores in house and driving my car. I finished all 4 books in 5 days. Reading the last sentence on Friday morning 04.13. Hours before i had to participate in a grooming competition. But it was so worth it. The last one is my favorite and made me cry very often. During my dog grooming competition i decided to listen to the last book. I just had to! And i will continue to listen to this serie everytime i will participate in a grooming contest. Best non fiction i have ever read! The end being a big surprise but yet so satisfying!

Most amazing stories I’ve read in years. I can’t wait for the second movie to come out. I picked the movie After out of the blue not knowing I would absolutely fall in love with the movie and then I find the series of books you wrote.

The 1st and 4th books are the best. There's enough happiness mixed in with the drama. The 2nd and 3rd books are rough. I wish they were combined into one. Overall a great series but be prepared for an emotionally exhausting ride.

First I want to say that a lot of people probably won’t like my review but it’s how I honestly feel.
The author writes really well and I love that she references Pride and Prejudice many times as that is one of my favorite books. She brings the characters to life and has a way with words that makes you feel the agony the characters feel or she has you cracking up. That’s where all the good stops though.
Of all the characters Hardin is my favorite. While what he did to Tessa is truly horrible, he does everything he can to show her he loves her even if it isn’t perfect. I honestly think a lot of the drama could have been eliminated if Hardin had just stopped going to those parties and let go of his friends and if Tessa had stopped talking to Zed. The books are extremely long and a lot of unnecessary fighting happens. I was sad that the author gave us a couple who destroyed themselves and caused unnecessary pain to each other. I actually think Tessa caused the most pain and grief than Hardin. She never let anything go and Hardin was dying for her. I hated that I had to read through all the fighting, all the pushing, the agony of Tessa having to find her “independence” OVER and OVER and OVER again and Hardin dying on the inside waiting for her. As much as he turned to alcohol he never kissed other people in jealousy to spite Tessa like she did that guy in the hallway, he didn’t stay close “friends” with Molly once he was into Tessa like Tessa did with Zed, Tessa would literally run away from him over and over again and he was always running after her. Everything that Hardin knows is a lie and yet he’s not allowed to be f**ked up? His father isn’t the man he thought he was, he saw his mother beaten and raped, Christian isn’t who he says he is either and yet Hardin has to be the strong one. Why did everyone have to keep pushing Hardin the way that they did? She always wanted to do the opposite of what he wanted and there’s nothing wrong with saying “ok” every once in awhile. Tessa was more toxic than he was in my opinion. While Hardin was infuriating Tessa didn’t help either. I’m really annoyed with Tessa especially in this book. I’ll forever be sad that I read the series. If anything she didn’t deserve him in the end. I think the author possibly wrote herself into corners often in the series and couldn’t find her way out without there being an argument. The resolution between Hardin and Tessa was too short. I hope other people find joy with this series but my heart aches.

I absolutely love this series. At first, I grew so tired of the constant fighting and break ups between them, that I almost gave up in the middle of book 3. I'm so happy I didn't, because the ending to this series was one that I will remember forever. This series made me feel so many emotions, and the last few chapters of this last one had me sobbing. I really recommend this series. It is not all rainbow and butterflies. You will cry, feel anger and betrayal along with the characters, and you will laugh. Thank you so much for this gem, Anna Todd.
Rating: 5A symphony of smiles and tears. I am glad the journey has come to an end, which I did not want at first. I came to know the sequel from Watpadd (of course), and I was totally hooked in. Still I prefer the old name - Harry, since it seemed to already carved into me. But it is ok for Hardin too. Sometimes I grew tired of their constant fights, which wore me out and I just skipped the part. But then I realised, the book lost its spices if I continued to skip. Many readers say that their fights are so overbearing, and only ended up with sex. However, tired as I was to read their thoughts during the fight, I found that they were trying their very best and each time, they kept getting it better and better. Maybe sex at the end is not worth of the fight, but their thoughts after the sex do count, they didnt want it either. People make mistakes, some are forgiven, some are not. But how they kept moving on is what really drives me. Thanks Anna for this amazing journey.
