lousy character development and I hate when the writer just hurries through the final act, they should make the male protagonist suffer a bit more at the end instead for a couple of dialogues. I expected more

Nice and angsty. Heroine was a bit of a doormat and the hero was no saint, but I still really liked it. The ending was lacking for me, though. I don't like super saccharine endings and for once this hp wasn't, but I definitely would have liked a bigger grovel from the hero. It would have made the suffering (doormat) from the heroine throughout equal.

Too many other women. She should not have been celibate for 9 years while he got to enjoy himself. Spineless wimp of a heroin.
