M Cesar

Have lived in Various places, but now based in Dublin Ireland. I used to be drawn to write books with my own ideas, but since December 2012, I have been writing books that are inspired by God and what he has been revealing to me. Much of this has been centred around the Revival that has come to Ireland and the changes that God wants in the hearts of the believers, as well as the changes needed in churches throughout Ireland and further afield. Cesar, simply means Come Everyone See A Revival, and I use this name in order to keep my heart humble before God, to remind myself that without Him, I am nothing.

    CHAPTER ONE

    POWER STRUGGLES & WORSHIP

How is it that it seems as if Christianity has no power, either to fight against wrong social choices or to stand up against false religions? Are we saying that God has no power? Obviously not! Then the issue is not God but us, either we choose not to let that power come through us or we just don't know how! Maybe the church has forgotten how!

But the Lord can guide us back into that authority, which is a battlefield, and worship is at the frontline. Not just to worship with songs but worship that is mixed with intercession and even prophetic intercession as God comes and inhabits our praises and sits on his throne of praise. That's when the power of God will manifest. And yet it means that worship teams should no longer exist as a separate entity, they should include others, and letting the unexpected happen.

And yet there seems to be always power struggles around worship songs, a lot of the time over song choice. I remember in the early days of my time as a worship leader I faced such power struggles such as fighting with the older generation to be able to introduce new songs. A debate which only ended up with more rules and regulations; you introduce new songs only during the communion time, or another was over the right for the preacher to pick songs, often I'd feel that their song was messing with the set of songs that God had given me and inside I would often be annoyed at such difficulties. Something I’m only honest about now.

Then within the worship team you can have similar struggles, people who want
