- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is one of the best texts of this kind around. Mark Allan Powell has a real gift for explaining the history and content of the New Testament, the scholarly debates and both 'conservative' and 'critical' views very clearly. Introducing the New Testament is a non-partisan work that serves readers of all persuasions well in understanding more about the New Testament writings.
