Good Manners Often Make Bad People

About this ebook
We’ve become a world more concerned with how we appear than what kind of person we are. Being polite, politically correct and achieving status has replaced being real. And sadly people no longer seem to care how fake a person is being, as long as they are nice.
This is a tough time, with a lot of serious problems coming to the forefront. A polite smile and perfect manners are not what’s going to get us past serious economic, social and humanitarian realities. Good manners are often used as something to hide behind in order to avoid confronting the hard things in life.

Preface
Most people are raised to be false, even praised for it. This can seem startling, but it’s true. We’re trained from childhood to say and do things that aren’t genuine. We are trained to develop a façade that we grow up to present to the world.
Every society has their own set of rules that we call manners.
Children are raised to follow these in some way, which starts a life-long pattern of politely false behavior. For example, we teach children to say, I’m sorry,
after they grabbed a toy out of another child’s hands and are forced to return it,
