Dr. Elena Carr finished an exhausting and final inspection of her experiment. Thankfully, the shade covering the roots of the juniper trees had protected her small team from the radiating heat of the midday sun.
The final inspection was to a gurgling mixture covering the exposed roots consisting of saline and carbon nutrients. Also included was a nano-tech antenna array; swarming millions of microscopic frequency seekers.
At the very least, this experiment was a hi-tech spa for the tree’s delicate root structure.
