He was the founder, executive producer, and co-host of the podcast Bully the Bullies Show, which aired in 2012. In 2013, Kirkman earned a "Certificate of Acknowledgment of Leadership and Congratulations" from the North Carolina House of Representatives for his activism during the 2012 marriage equality debates. 2014 brought the release of Bedtime Bible Stories - Explicit! with his co-author, JD Shapiro. Today, Joey Lee Kirkman is the CFO of Secular Media Group, Owner of JLK Tax Service, and 2015 will see the release of his second book, PR POPE.JD Shapiro is a man of many trades. He's been an actor, director, filmmaker, writer and stand-up comedian. As a screenwriter, JD has worked on many films, most notably Robin Hood: Men in Tights (1993) and the early draft of Battlefield: Earth (2000). As an actor, he's worked on films such as Pucked (2006), The Strand (2007), and X-Treme Biography - Santa (2008). He was the recipient of the "Audience Award Best Movie" at the HBO Film Festival for his work on the film We Married Margo (2000). He also collaborated with comic-book icon Stan Lee in creating a new group of fictional superheroes titled "The Guardian Project".Together, these men deliver something wonderful and well-needed.
