Chris Sullivan was born in Manchester, England, to alcoholic parents, grew up in various children's homes, and eventually vowed to help anyone caught up in addiction after he himself succumbed to the same fate. For many years he struggled with various addictions until he quit them all instantly and permanently without suffering terrible withdrawal symptoms or cravings. His first book, "The Joy of Quitting Cannabis," was translated into Dutch and Danish languages and sells in more than 40 countries around the world. To date the book has helped thousands of people to quit cannabis without using willpower or feeling tempted and vulnerable in social situations. In 2012/2013, he wrote The Little Book of Quitting Caffeine and several other new titles that will be released via E&C Publishing in the near future.

    I once did quit caffeine for 2 months, had very few withdrawal symptoms initially but by the end of the period I was sleeping 12 hours a day and tired the rest of the time . I don't agree with the extreme views of the author and I think what he said in this book could be said in two pages.

About The Author

Chris Sullivan was born in Manchester, England, to alcoholic parents, grew up in various children's homes and for many years struggled with various addictions until he quit them all instantly and permanently without suffering terrible withdrawal symptoms or cravings. Chris then decided to do all he could to help others still caught up in addiction. He trained as a hypnotherapist and later NLP Master Practitioner under Paul McKenna, Michael Breen and Dr Richard Bandler in the 1990’s. Upon completion of his training he set himself up in private practice.

From 2003 onwards he began treating addictions exclusively meeting with great success. His first book, The Joy of Quitting Cannabis, was translated into Dutch and Danish languages and continues to sell copies in more than 40 countries around the world. To date the book has helped thousands of people to quit cannabis without using willpower or feeling tempted and vulnerable in social situations. He recently released The Little Book of Quitting Caffeine and The Little Book of Quitting Cannabis.

Coincidentally, Chris was born just yards away from the birthplace of Arthur Brooke (1845-1918) who founded the famous UK registered business Brooke Bond & Company – who produced famous brand labels such as PG Tips and Brooke Bond Tea.
