    It is never easy for the free to understand the oppression of others. When spoken of or suggested, the answer is without a doubt, They can fight back. It is a naive and simplistic view for people who have never suffered under the harsh hand of a master.

    Freedoms are pricey. Someone pays in order for others to gain freedom in the future. Soldiers die in battle fields protecting their homeland. Citizens protest, get beaten and hauled off to jail for the sake of voting and the right to own their destiny and lives.

    Women fought for years for the right to exist beside men, get paid fair wages and be treated as equals in general. Some say the pendulum swung all the way to the other end. But that is the violent response to tyranny. When the oppressed become aware, they take it too far and the oppressor complains of the abnormality of situations. Traditions are broken and the status quo is destroyed in the name of freedom.

    Suffrage in the United States created room for women to speak their mind and offered them the right to vote. Until the present, people fight amongst themselves, depriving a woman her right to her own body, resolving decisions she needs to make for herself. Meanwhile in other countries it is considered a normal procedure to end a fetus. A form of birth control.

    But, this is not our story. We will not discuss abortion and clinics where women are
