    Annie’s Antics is a book of fiction short stories about a mischievous preteen. Each story tells of an adventure Annie faces. Her escapades include humor, drama, suspense, chaos, challenge, love, crushes and a bit scary at times. I know you will enjoy meeting Annie Grey, her parents, cousins, farm animals, friends and even rivals. Some characters you will grow to love and others maybe not so much. The book is written for ages 8-12 but everyone will love Annie’s Antics. Annie Grey, an only child, lives on a farm with her parents in rural Northwestern Kentucky in an era before extreme technology. Each story has a learning experience to benefit many situations. I’ve received reviews about Annie’s Antics from various ages. A fifth grade teacher commented she loved the way the stories all had lessons to be learned that could be used in real life. The teacher said she would use these books as a springboard in her classroom. She said they allow children to read and understand the fun to be without all the electronic devises. She said the stories are written in a way which stimulates all the senses and made her feel she stood along-side Annie. She added the stories would bring back wonderful childhood memories to mature readers and would be a best seller. A co-anchor of a local news station commented she loved Annie’s Antics. She said some of the stories could have been about her though they are fiction. A co-worker told me they made her laugh, cry and be concerned for the outcome of Annie. She said each time she read a story, she couldn’t wait for me to write another. She also said the book would be a best seller. A college writing teacher said the first line captured his attention and held his interest though the whole story because of the descriptive writing. A twelve year old young lady also read the stories. I watched her as she read the books. She told me she couldn’t wait to find out what happened each time with Annie. The young reader shed tears one minute and laugh the next. She asked it the stories were true because they seemed so real. She said she wished she could be Annie! You will love Annie’s Antics.
