About this ebook

For the very first time, here, in one compendium, are all of the escapades of those two loveable Pond Frogs, Peter and Herb.
This is the collection of all five stories, which comprise the series "Tales From Wingy Wood".
Included is the (much-downloaded) “A Frogs Tale” followed by “Frogs At Large”, “Frogs On The Run”, “Frog Force” and the exciting series finale “Frogs Forever”.
The stories bring to light the adventures of Peter and Herb, together with a whole host of their friends, amongst which are a Millipede, a Cricket, a Mole, a Spider; there are also Mice, Rats, Birds and even a Dog and a Cow.
In the first story, the daring duo sets out to find the Great Eel. In order to do this they have to cross the vast-plain, with its Roaring Monsters.
They had heard that the Great Eel loves little Frogs. Well he did, but he loved them for his dinner! How did they get out of all that?
The second story introduces the dastardly Fox Igor. He’s looking for food and he doesn’t mind who he eats – Mice, Frogs Rats – anybody will do. Of course, he didn’t recon on coming across Peter and Herb.
In the third story, the Igor the Fox is looking for revenge; he chases the two Frogs over hills and through woods, but they manage to escape thanks to a friendly Mole. A large Spider helps them turn the tables on Igor.
The fourth story sees Igor once more scheming to get some food, this time he is after Rabbits, young or old – it doesn’t matter which. A friendly Bee happens to spot Igor lurking, and just by chance, the Bee mentions this fact to Peter and Herb. They swing into action and manage to avoid any nastiness -- except to the Fox that is, he ends up being exiled out of Wingy Wood.
The fifth story is the exciting climax to the series. It sees the return of Igor, together with his Mum, Dad and two brothers; they want to eat Frogs and no mistake. How do the Frogs and friends cope? The answer of course is some clever planning, a lot of hope and a big splodge of luck.
I hope you enjoy the read!

Hello, My first book for youngsters, “A Frogs' Tale”, was done as a surprise for my Granddaughter Alicia, she and her Mum loved Frogs. She liked it, and so the first book expanded to two books, and now there are five. I called the series “Tales from Wingy Woods”. Prior to the children’s books, I wrote a book to help interested people, to achieve their goal of obtaining a "Retirement Visa". To Thailand, Oddly enough – I called it -- “How to Retire to Thailand” As a Part time resident in Thailand; I came across many people wanting to -- or dreaming of -- retiring there. They all faced many problems. Up-to-date and clear answers were difficult to find, and there were and still are, are plenty of 'rip-off' ‘Visa Companies’ in existence. The charges that the Thai Immigration department makes for a visa are the same for everyone. I contend that no one needs to pay more than those charges. This book shows the way. I started my working life as an engineering apprentice, and in my time worked on all kinds of Fabrications from Conveyor Systems to Bridges. I progressed into a company that fabricated whole Sugar Factories, and from that company I started out on a 20 year period when I worked overseas in many countries, firstly building Sugar Factories and then Petro-Chemical plants. Other works that I have written include television scripts, poetry, and lots of songs, none of which have made me rich enough to stop writing.
