Most blogs fail. That’s a fact that I’m sure you’ve all heard countless times. Of the thousands and thousands of blogs that are created every day, only a few go on to become a success. The vast majority are simply abandoned.
I was reminded of this fact recently when I checked the old links page on my personal blog. The page listed blogs I followed actively around 2006 and 2007. A few of those blogs have gone on to become hugely successful though most have not been updated in years. They’ve been left to rot by their owner.
The reality that a lot of bloggers find out quickly is that starting a blog is easy however developing it and making it a success requires a lot of hard work. Not everyone is cut out for this. Over the years I’ve spoken with hundreds of bloggers. After a while, it became very easy to tell who was going to become successful and who wasn’t.
Bloggers come from all walks of life though successful bloggers all have qualities that stand them apart from everyone else. In this book I
