    Surviving in the Sandwich Generation

This book is the story of my life in the Sandwich Generation. As you read my story, you may recognize yourself in my dilemmas, issues, and confrontations. Maybe some Sandwich Generationers can cope well with these challenges, but I think the whole reason for calling it the Sandwich Generation is because of the difficulties with being in the middle of it. People are living longer and longer, so four and even five living generations is not unusual. And in today’s economy, more and more families are living in the same house. Kids move back home, parents move in with grandparents. Even grandchildren move in with grandparents and great grandparents, as in my
