      A

      A is for attitude, it comes from the soul,

      You’ll need the right attitude to achieve your life’s goal.

      B

      B for Belief which should always be strong,

      If you really believe it will help you along.

      C

      C is for Comfort Zone, a nice cosy place.

      Break out of this zone to escape the rat race.

      D

      D is for Dreams, decision, desire.

      These three things can change a spark into a fire.

      E

      E for Enthusiasm, giving energy to smile.

      Even if things go wrong. Then go wrong with style!

      F

      F is for Failure, but as you should know,

      No one can fail, they just learn and grow.

      G is for Goals. They keep you on track.

      Keep your eyes on your goals and never look back.

      H is for Help, be humble and learn.

      Find a mentor to whom, when in trouble, you turn.

      I for Ideas that come into your mind.

      Follow their leading, and your future you’ll find.

      J is for Juggling jobs in the day.

      Manage your time and you’ll have time to play.

      But facts without wisdom won’t help you at all.

      L is for Listening. Find out what people need.

      Don’t compromise values or you’ll reap your mistake.

      W is for Work. Work smart and not long.

      Leverage your time to get a lot more done.

      X an eXample, as a leader, you’ll be.

      How you behave, all eyes will see.

      Y is for YES! You can fulfil your Why.

      You must follow your Dreams and I’ll follow mine.

      Z is for Zeal, that’s eager desire.

      Let your zeal move you forward and fuel your fire.

      So apply to your life this alphabet rhyme

      and success will be yours in the fullness of time.

      Attitude

      A is for attitude, it comes from the soul,

      You’ll need the right attitude to achieve your life’s goal.

      Attitude is a very good place to begin when we start on our journey of success, because our attitude is the foundation behind everything we do, say and think. Your attitude flows out from your heart and soul, and shows the real you behind your actions.

      To be successful in achieving your life’s goals you need to develop a positive attitude. If you have a positive attitude, then as you speak and work others around you will be encouraged and inspired. This will help them to develop a positive attitude too, and you will all move forward more easily towards success. If you have a negative attitude then you will find that the people living and working around you will become negative, resulting in an atmosphere of discouragement, fear and tension. This in turn dampens your enthusiasm and success.

      Since you hold such power of influence over the people around you by the attitude you have to life, then it is also true in reverse. The people you mix with will have an influence over your attitude. Choose your friends and company carefully. Surround yourself with people who have a positive attitude and avoid those who are always negative and full of doubt.

      Do you remember those times when you were feeling really excited and enthusiastic about an idea? What happened when you tried to share those ideas with people who were negative? I bet they were only too keen to give you their advice, and their opinions, and I guess they left you feeling crushed in spirit, rejected, devastated, full of doubt, insecure and fearful? It’s hard to lift yourself back up again, isn’t it? So be careful only to share your big ideas and dreams with people you know have a positive attitude: people who believe that dreams and goals are achievable. As they get excited with you, you will be able to move forward against any obstacle that comes up to stop you.

      To help you develop a positive attitude, start using positive words and thinking positive thoughts. Speak about yourself in positive ways; speak about your friends and family this way too. Use words of encouragement and praise out loud and in public so you can help lift others up,
