About this ebook
Oscar and Zoey, sibling Brussels Griffons, learn what it means to be part of a pack with two humans and a neighboring Chihuahua, Pepe. Enlightenment comes from the thoughttalk of their Mommadog who has crossed over to be an Elder and has the Knowledge of All Dogs. The primary lesson for ages 7-12 is the interdependency of all life, presented with humor and drama from Oscar's point of view.

My Name is Oscar
My name is Oscar. Just Oscar.
My male human, a high maintenance but generally good guy to own, was forever expanding on my name. Perhaps he had a bit of Native American in him and was given to using function in naming things. I didn’t mind. Except sometimes I did, and I was a little concerned about where all this was going to end up. It went like this.
My sister, Zoey, and I came from the same Mommadog pack. We have been together our whole life, save my first year when I left Momma and adopted a family with young humans. Zoey left Momma and took ownership of an older couple. Her humans knew my humans. I visited her from time to time that first year and decided to dedopt my original human pack and joined Zoey. She owned John and Marta and was well ahead in their training. The small humans in my first human pack played much too roughly. The big humans would not pay attention to the little ones. I protested but they paid no attention. I was young, confused, and not optimistic about being able to train them on my own. Zoey persuaded her humans to have me come to complete the pack. This was a good move for all concerned.
Marta had proven to be a dog lover, an asset in a human, and Zoey had her pretty much trained in the basics by the time I got there. Having previously lived with other dogs and Zoey-trained, Marta was a big help in training John in the ways of dogs. Still, it fell to me to do the heavy lifting in
