      I always knew that I would write books. Truth is though; I never thought my first book would be about relationships.

      I’ve been a hair, makeup and fashion stylist for over 15 years before becoming a life coach.  I’ve had hundreds of clients sit in my chair and confide in me on various topics. From love and relationships, reality TV, pregnancies, career problems, travel destinations, you name it, we ’ve talked about it.  Haven’t you talked to your hair stylist about any and everything? When I look back over the time I had my salons and think about all those conversations, sometimes being extremely annoyed because all I really wanted to do was focus on doing hair; I used to think to myself, This is some bullshit, these people come in here and expect me to give them fabulous hair AND be their therapist? I’m not paid enough for all this extra chit – chat!

      Looking back on it now, I finally get it! I understand that your hairstylist can truly be the person you confide in most and won’t judge you. I understand now that your hairstylist has the power to give you something that other people cannot give; beauty, compassion, a listening ear and great advice. I realize how much of a true honor it has been to have so many people really trust me. Not only with their hair, but also with their biggest fears, greatest accomplishments and transformative moments in their lives.
