Then I had the good fortune to read “Of mice and men” by John Steinbeck and two days later I obtained “The Grapes of Wrath”. A few months later, a classmate of mine gave me “Death in the Afternoon” and “Across the River and Into the Trees” of Hemingway and I realized that the craft of writing would become my great love. I liked knowing the facts of the day , I read many newspapers and began to attend the drafting of a newspaper. I started writing articles and at age 19 I went as an envoy on the football fields and I studied at university. Then I became a reporter. One day I was struck by a news of crime, a double murder. In the garden of a restaurant in Naples were found the bodies of a man and a woman, it was discovered that they were drug couriers . Until then Naples was seen mainly in the imagination as the city of mandolins and songs , pizza and hospitality. In addition to the neighborhood thugs . I realized that the city had dramatically changed and it became an important crossroads of crime. Although in more than two thousand years of history had been a place of philosophers and scientists, writers and poets (Giambattista Della Porta invented the telescope before Galileo...). So I decided to write my first crime novel , "Il diavolo giallo" which was published in 1992 . There followed " Il terno di San Gennaro" " Un mistero occitano per il commissario Abruzzese", "Vendesi Napoli", " Mater munnezza " and in 2012 " Caponapoli " published in the historic editorial series Il Giallo Mondadori . In 2015 it was published the detective novel "Scorciatoia per la morte". I wrote several essays , including " How to write a Neapolitan crime novel" ("Come scrivere un giallo napoletano"). In this manual I have revealed that the first Italian crime novel was written in Naples in 1852. Several of my books have been published in the convenient eBook editions that I think an effective instrument of freedom of authors and readersI miei genitori erano napoletani, sono nato a Roma e vivo a Napoli.Quando ero un bambino volevo essere un diplomatico o un medico . Poi ho avuto la fortuna di leggere " Uomini e topi " di John Steinbeck e due giorni dopo ho ottenuto in regalo " The Grapes of Wrath " . Pochi mesi dopo, un mio compagno di scuola mi ha dato "Death in the Afternoon " e "Di là dal fiume e tra gli alberi " di Hemingway e ho capito che il mestiere di scrivere sarebbe diventato il mio grande amore. Mi è piaciuto conoscere i fatti del giorno, ho letto molti giornali e cominciai a frequentare la redazione di un giornale. Ho iniziato a scrivere articoli, all'età di 19 anni sono andato come inviato sui campi di calcio e ho studiato all'università. Poi sono diventato un giornalista. Un giorno sono stato colpito da una notizia di reato, un duplice omicidio. Nel giardino di un ristorante a Napoli sono stati trovati i corpi di un uomo e una donna, si è scoperto che erano corrieri della droga . Fino ad allora Napoli è stata vista soprattutto nell'immaginario come la città di mandolini e canzoni, pizza e ospitalità. Oltre ai guappi di quartiere . Mi resi conto che la città era drammaticamente cambiata ed era diventata un importante crocevia della criminalità. Anche se in più di duemila anni di storia era stata la terra di filosofi e scienziati, scrittori e poeti ( Giambattista Della Porta ha inventato il telescopio prima di Galileo ... ). Così ho deciso di scrivere il mio primo romanzo poliziesco, "Il diavolo giallo " che è stato pubblicato nel 1992. Seguirono "Il terno di San Gennaro ", "Un mistero occitano per il commissario Abruzzese ", " Vendesi Napoli", " Mater munnezza " e nel 2012 " Caponapoli ", pubblicato nella storica collana editoriale Il Giallo Mondadori. Nel 2015 è stato pubblicato il romanzo poliziesco "Scorciatoia per la morte". Ho scritto diversi saggi, tra cui " Come scrivere un giallo napoletano ". In questo manuale ho rivelato che il primo romanzo poliziesco italiano è stato scritto a Napoli nel 1852. Molti dei miei libri sono stati pubblicati nelle edizioni eBook che penso siano un efficace strumento di libertà di autori e lettori.view less
