      Loved this story, well written and characters were well defined and their relationship to each other was believable. Lastly, I dint see that last twist coming. Also the intimacy could have been more descriptive.

      I like the story but the narration was a little too slow

      It felt more like women’s fiction. More emphasis on the past enslaved woman and the man who owned her than the present couple and the tension was pretty lacking.
