There was no time spent by heroine and hero in the current time. You get a very long flashback when they met and fell for each other but the current time part of the plot depends on them never really speaking to each other. Not nearly as good as the 4 or 5 leading up to it but worth reading if you want to stay with th story which is very intertwined and I will try the next one although it seems like a bit of a rehash of the very first one with the mistaken identity.
