About this audiobook

An Enemies-To-Lovers Romance

When Gianna watches her older sister being forced into an arranged marriage, she promises herself to escape a similar fate.

The moment Matteo – The Blade – Vitiello sees Gianna on his brother’s wedding, he wants to possess her. Her father agrees to the bond, but Gianna has no intention of marrying for any other reason than love. A few months before the wedding, Gianna runs away and begins a new life in Europe away from the mafia. But one of their best hunters and assassins is after her: Matteo.

When Matteo and a couple of her father’s soldiers catch her, not only her freedom is at risk, but also the life of the people with her.

Gianna is taken home and forced to marry Matteo.

Ridden by guilt over having dragged innocent people into her world and overcome with hatred toward Matteo, Gianna is determined to make life hell for her husband. But Matteo is a master at mind games and their struggle for power soon turns into hate-fueled nights of passion.

I was hoping Gianna's book would be better than Aria's but it sadly wasn't.

I give up with this series. The women are weak trophy mafia wives and the men are arrogant power hungry men.  And they are all stupid.

I guess I prefer mafia books that are actually dark and the characters are interesting and not one dimensional.

And sorry but I can't get over the fact that the girls were just teenagers when they first met them and were engaged to them. Gross.

This was entertaining! And finally a story with a dual POV!

Mateo wanted Giana from the moment her sarky comment left her mouth. There was no business reason to have her as his wife, but still he asked his brother and Capo to arrange the marriage. Giana didn't share the same sentiment. She craved freedom as much as Mateo wanted to have her at his side.

So much happened here! I loved how dynamic this story was. There are actual events and the psychological turmoil within. The pacing kept me coming back to the story whenever I could. Giana is a fiery character, but her stance on the mafia life was so in line with it. Mateo matches her step by step, but it is evident how much he is smitten from the start. It was also good to see Aria and Luca.

It's the first story in the series where the MCs play their main roles so evenly. There is a good balance between story, mafia life, smut and romance.

I love how Cora writes but Giana has gotten in my nerves like no other character ever. The sturborness is too much on her side. Mateo’s character i loved it! Just imagining his shark grin it was delighful

These two were my most highly anticipated couple. From Bound By Honor, I was so captivated by their relationship. I wanted to see the back-and-forth banter and snark between them and Gianna's constant dislike for this world she lives in. But Bound By Hatred fell so short. it was like reading two different characters.

Gianna's character was completely different from the character we've seen on the sideline, and how she handled the book's last part was so poorly done. She shouldn't have changed her mind in a matter of seconds. Throughout the book, I started to hate her more and more. Matteo didn't do any better and their constant fighting and bedding just gave me whiplash. It was too unnecessary.

I couldn't even tell you what the story line was for this because I couldn't make one out between all the drama and fighting.

Good ending. Really. It’s the best part of the whole book, actually. I want more happy Aria and Luca - that’s what I kept thinking throughout the whole book which I see as kind of bad. I’ll leave to say all that on the review I’ll write later.

I liked main characters of this book better then all the other CR's characters, espexially because Gilliana wasn't as annoying as she was in Aria's and Luca's story. Although I think plot was written well, I felt it was rushed at the end. I feel like there could have been more pages about how they admitted themselves they fell in love.

Far different than other mafia books. I loved the escape and her running. I would've loved more depth into how he actually tracked her down and found her. His thoughts when doing so and so on. It was cute how she compared guys to Matteo and his kiss. I liked their bantering it felt playful. The dining table scene was hot. These two definitely have chemistry. I'm glad she finally realized she wanted a life with him as a person even if she fought the lifestyle. Luca felt like a very overprotective big brother. I get it as an older sibling myself. We can't stand to see them with someone we may think isn't right for them but it was nice to see them both come to a tolerant place at least. She was far less annoying in this book than when she was in Aria and Lucas book.

There is a lot i dislike about this book, but overall it was entertaining.

The author repeats the same bits of information over and over as if the reader forgets basic facts every other page.

Main character is interesting, and the relationship between the love interests is fun, but the plot is like a bad made for tv movie. Character motivation is random not well thought through.

I had high hopes for this book, it’s wasn’t bad but it wasn’t my favorite and it’s crazy because I thought it would be. The beginning was great, I loved the flashbacks. I wished we could’ve gotten more detail of Gianna’s life in Europe I felt like that was a little rushed. Then the middle of the book, oh God this was the hardest for me to get through. It was non stop sex scenes and I was just sitting there wondering when there would be a pause and we could continue on with the plot, but that rarely came until you got to the end and it just felt like everything was thrown together to wrap the book up.
