- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Amazing story-- it was a really thoughtful exploration of relationships and sexuality that transcends any tropes that you'd think this story would have. Also, WOW, I usually dislike audiobooks and only listen to them when the book is not available on here, but the reader (Erin Mallon) hit it out of the park! This turned out to be one of my favorite books of the year. Molly Wizenberg, memoirs are not a dead art, thank you so much for speaking your truth.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A brave and generous memoir of a sensitive, intelligent woman’s journey from a ten-year heterosexual marriage and motherhood in her 20s to rediscovering her love of women in her early 30s. A few years later, she falls in love with a beautiful, sexually fluid woman with some male characteristics. Interwoven are brief discussions of contemporary academic research on sexual fluidity and the author’s reflections on those while coming to accept herself and her needs. Unfortunately this title is categorized as lesbian romance/fiction on Scribd, which could prompt some to not listen to it when they discovery its gravity. I’m glad I stumbled across it. More than 30 years older than the author, it was painful but inspiring to hear her journey shared so any similarities to my own. Plus the narrator is outstanding
