At the very least, the book will inspire a very lively debate among the thousands of students of Civil War history. At best, it will significantly revise how we evaluate Confederate strategy during the height the war and our understanding of why, in the end, the South lost.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Awful. The author claims to have done thorough research yet still claims that the war was fought over Slavery.
When in fact by Lincoln own hand written letter say that in fact it was not about slavery.
Total Fail - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is a well written piece of history describing 2 Leaders who greatly complemented each other despite their most un-noble cause
