Holden is doing his best to be a single father to Hunter and continue his business to provide for their future. He also is determined to do it all on his own and prove he can. When Hunter's teacher needs to meet with him his entire world is turned upside down. Autumn is a teacher and loves her job. She feels for Hunter and hopes to help with his lack of social skills. When she meets with his father she can't believe where things will go. Lacy Laurel and Gregory Salinas do a good job telling this story. They put the feelings in and I got a sense of them being these characters instead of just reading their chapters. I do think someone with a younger sounding voice might have been a better Autumn. I love Lacy's voice but she is suited better for older female characters instead of the 20 somethings. I received a complimentary copy to listen and review with my honest opinion. I enjoyed this audio. It is a solid 4 for me. I enjoyed the story.

Overall I love this book, the audio performance was engaging. If one is reading the books (Right Under My Nose Books 1-3) and the audio simultaneously there were some deviations (less than 5 major, over 50 minor) from the printed book, but they did not detract from the overall story and would not be noticed otherwise.

Autumn, an elementary school teacher, calls Holden, a self made billionaire and single parent, in to meet about his son's socialization skills and things come across wrong. As the story progresses fate decides to step in and has a decidedly wicked sense of humor, yet friendships develop, romance takes over, and a happily ever after seems to be a slam dunk. That is until a blast from the past comes calling and everyone goes into protection mode sometimes for themselves, sometimes for others. Ali Parker has a special way with steamy romance, she give her readers everything they could ever ask for. You won't let this one out from under your nose all weekend long.

Good story ! I liked the characters in the book .

Holden is a single father and a successful businessman; he has worked his keister off for the last ten years trying to raise both successfully. He did the best he could to head off any issues that would arise with Hunter- when an unforgiving teacher ( Autumn ) tells him Hunter is not doing well socially, undermining him and bringing up sore subjects- it's on! What a whirlwind story with fabulous narration that made me feel all sorts of ways! A magnificent fictional getaway! “I received a complimentary advanced audio copy of this book from the author as part of the ARC team, but my opinions are 100% my own.”
