About this audiobook

Some people come from a long family line of lawyers, doctors, teachers and even cops. Febe just found out she comes from a long line of…witches!

Febe Summer is not having a good day. Or a good year, for that matter.  She lost her fiancé, her job, and her apartment all in one day—on her 25thbirthday! Talk about the worst. Birthday. Ever!

She's jobless, penniless and soon to be…homeless.

Will she be able to rebound and pick herself up again?

Oh, and she just found out, thanks to a dark family secret, that she's not who she thought she was. She's a witch! And she's not allowed to practice magic—yet.

When she moves back to her small hometown of Blackshore Bay, there's more family drama than she can handle. Her aunties are out of control, her sister is being secretive and someone has murdered the malicious town gossip. Will she be able to find out whom, before it's too late?

Cute concept, but the writing is pretty bad. Things jump around and the pacing is allover the place. Not my favourite from this genre.

This book is one of the worst I have ever read! Stupid, disjointed, ridiculous plot. Also the narration was extremely irritating. Her screechy voice was made worse by her Valley Girl intonations. Don't bother!

the voice sounds like a robot in a hurry and the story is for kids

The number of times the main characters referred to each other by their family titles was driving me insane. "Sis" and "aunties" over and over. It was too much. And the narrator was really not enjoyable to listen to. Story was very dull and didn't create the ambiance I expect from this genre.

Super cute! A nice easy read while my kids scream in the background.

This is the most repeatative book I've ever heard. Everything is constantly Feeby thinks this, Feeby does what she was thinking about, Feeby says what she just did. And then recaps or for you later.

And holey cow, does Feeby repeat almost everything said to her. "This is my sister." "Your sister?" "Yes, my sister." Every ten minutes

The Narrator also sounds like she's speed reading. She never takes a breath

Not well written at all. Author kept repeating the same information over and over

Info dumping, plastic and unrealistic inner dialogue. All telling and little showing. The most obnoxious kind of amateurish writing, like something a highschool English teacher would have to slog through before handing out a B-.

Awful. Absolutely awful. This book felt like it wss written by a 13 ueae old for her baby sister not and adult. The amount of bickering back and forth pointlessness argh trash Absolutely horrendous. I just wanted to finish because I wanted to know the killer. And that didn't even make any sense ?

The narrator spoke too fast, as if she got a bonus for finishing early.
The intro gave away the entire plot so there wasn’t much point listening to the rest of the story.
The story itself was just okay. Too much, “dear niece and dear sister” in the dialogue. Two dimensional characters.

Not sure which was worse: the narrator or the terrible cliche “story”.
    Don’t waste your time, I wish I hadn’t.

This is a fast-paced storyline with a novel storyline with characters that carry the storyline.

This is the most repetitive book ever. Constant recaps and how many times do we need to be introduced to the cat? Could have been a cute concept for a story but it’s just badly written.
