About this audiobook

She’s America’s sweetheart and he’s the town pariah. . .

From the NEW YORK TIMES, WALL STREET JOURNAL, & USA TODAY bestselling series

Sienna Diaz is everyone’s favorite “fat” funny lady. The movie studio executives can’t explain it, but her films are out-grossing all the fit and trim headliners and Hollywood’s most beautiful elite. The simple truth is, everyone loves plus-sized Sienna.

But she has a problem, she can’t read maps and her sense of direction is almost as bad as her comedic timing is stellar. Therefore, when Sienna’s latest starring role takes her to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park she finds herself continually lost while trying to navigate the back roads of Green Valley, Tennessee. Much to her consternation, Sienna’s most frequent savior is a ridiculously handsome, charming, and cheeky Park Ranger by the name of Jethro Winston.

Sienna is accustomed to high levels of man-handsome, so it’s not Jethro’s chiseled features or his perfect physique that make Sienna stutter. It’s his southern charm. And gentlemanly manners. And habit of looking at her too long and too often.

Sienna has successfully navigated the labyrinth of Hollywood heart-throbs. But can she traverse the tenuous trails of Tennessee without losing her head? Or worse, her heart?

I was LOVING this book, the humor, the romance.... but then it got reeeeal raunchy. I don't mind a little sex but this was a porno played out in words. And not just 1 scene, but several. I ended up stopping the book.

    5+ STARS!!
I have enjoyed every single book that Penny Reid has authored. By far, my favorite has been Beauty and the Mustache. Yet, Grin and Beard It has come a very close second. There's only one explanation - Drew Runous! His role might be small and his words few, but they both command an audience. So much so, that I was sobbing in the epilogue.

Jethro and Sienna were pretty wonderful, as well. :-) Going in, I'm always surprised how Penny Reid fleshes out her main characters after only getting small glimpses of them in previous books.
After reading the first three Winston bros. books, Jethro is definitely my favorite. (Sorry, Cletus fans.) I can see why Drew and Jethro are close, because they are the epitome of what I would describe as honorable men. Jethro has spent his adult life atoning for his past and being an example of redemption. It's been weeks since I finished this book and thoughts of these characters still move me. Jethro and Sienna are truly deserving of each other and, as always, Penny has written an achingly heartfelt and funny novel.

This one was considerably better than the fist one. I loved how goofy Sienna was.

I like getting to know another Winston, but it was long and lacked humor like book 1

As far as the audiobook, the voice actors were great.

I tried to get into this book because I thought the beard puns were so adorable, but the main character is pretty insufferable. She comes across as extremely selfish martyr and willing to upend a strangers life for her own benefit, when she complained about her older sister doing the same thing to her. I made it about ten chapters in before I just couldn't continue.

Loved getting to know Jethro better but could not really like the love interest. This is the second book by author that has female lead pressuring the guy. I find it extremely troublesome when it is the guy pressuring the girl— why the double standard?

Sigh. Where do I begin? This book is amazing. I love the author. She is an amazing writer. Her characters are so life like and relatable. This book was nothing short of freaking amazing. I fell in love with the Winston brothers after reading Duane and Jess's story and I'm even more in love now... I didn't want Jet's story to end. I can't wait to listen to Cletus's story.
