About this audiobook
Ex-Special Forces bodyguard Quinn Kavanaugh disdains everything “industry” when it comes to Hollywood. Despite this, she takes a job protecting up-and-coming singer Xandy Blue. Little does she know the diminutive lavender-eyed singer is far from the drama queen type that Quinn can’t stand.
Xandy has had a tragic life and is haunted by the past events that turned her life upside down. In public, she hides it all behind a bright smile and a beautiful voice. But away from the limelight she’s broken - until she meets Quinn.
When the tragedies of Xandy’s young life catch up to her, will she take Quinn down with her? Or will Quinn save the day to bring a Break in the Storm?

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Great story. Unfortunately the Irish accent was so so bad - it was frustrating at times and I did consider deleting at the beginning. But I'm pleased I stood it out because the actual writing is fab.
I didn't realise it was part of a series, but now I know I think I will be buying the next in paper format to avoid the narrator. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Story was ok, but the narrator’s interpretation of Xandy almost kept me from finishing the book- she sounded like a child.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5While the narrator did fine with most characters, she was not so good at the main characters in this book. It wasn't bad enough to keep me from listening, as it was a good story.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5It sounds like it could be a good book. Not trying to be mean the Narrator OMG!! I could not finish this book she made Xandy sound like a pure child. As soon as it started it was weird. I did give it a chance, but I just couldn't go any further. Change the Narrator.
