About this audiobook

It's hard being the most popular girl on the ice planet. The alien men are falling all over themselves to impress me in the hopes that I'll take them to my furs. But they don't know my secrets-none of them do. And they don't realize that behind my smile, I just wish they'd go away.

I don't want any of them. I want someone else-someone with a gorgeous blue body, big horns, and the most intense gaze ever. He's the only one that knows the truth. Maybe with him, I can work through my fears of the past . . . but I'm pretty sure he wants more than just friendship.

He wants forever, and I'm not sure I can give it.

Contains mature themes.

3.5 stars. Still excellent. Nothing to contain about. But it would be dishonest to rate them ALL 5 stars, right?

Que bonita forma de hablar sobre lo difícil que es vivir después de un abuso repetido.

I really like any Ice Planet barbarians books. But what the heck is with the male voice? Come on. This is how you ruin a good book. The guy sounds like he’s 60 yrs old. That’s so icky when trying to listen to a smutty book. And the tormented weird accent he’s trying to pull that makes him sound even older. Does he have any teeth? I’m so ugh’ed. No! Just no!

I think these books get better with each new installment in the series. I like that the girls start making their own love choices! The kind romance between the two main characters is sweet and swoon worthy. Enjoy!

I still love how Ruby Dixon talks about consent all the time. It's such a powerful message and it never gets old. I love how our blue aliens can't even grasp the concept of rape. And how they'd rather tear their own arm off before doing anything against a female will. *chef kiss*
However, I got a bit fed up with Salukh's possessiveness. I get it to a certain extent. But the way he kept saying she belonged to him even before resonance because that's it, he knew it. Well, I don't appreciate it, buddy.
And I was also tired of the whole competition. Unnecessary for me.
All in all, it was a good story with good messages. But it's not the best in the series.

Still a good read. Haven't gotten tired of the series yet and that's a good sign. Looking forward to the next book!

This was another really sweet entry in the series. I loved the characters. The struggle Tiffany went through was heart-wrenching. I'm glad she got her happy ending.

I this is my favorite male lead of all the books so far. He pays attention to what she really needs emotionally and listens. She feels so safe we with him.

The girl on the book cover doesn't look anything like the female lead though.
