Artificial Condition continues The Murderbot Diaries, a science fiction series that tackles questions of the ethics of sentient robotics. It appeals to fans of Westworld, Ex Machina, Ann Leckie's Imperial Raadch series, or Iain M. Banks' Culture novels. The main character is a deadly security droid that has bucked its restrictive programming and is balanced between contemplative self-discovery and an idle instinct to kill all humans. It has a dark past—one in which a number of humans were killed. A past that caused it to christen itself "Murderbot." But it has only vague memories of the massacre that spawned that title, and it wants to know more.
Teaming up with a Research Transport vessel named ART (you don't want to know what the "A" stands for), Murderbot heads to the mining facility where it went rogue.
What it discovers will forever change the way it thinks.

I loved the interaction through the feed wth the Secbot and ART, part two of the story was very exiting and the jargon even though was highly teccy it made sense, the author knows her stuff, thoroughly enjoyed both books, thankyou for a great story.
I really enjoyed the interaction between Murderbot and ART. A quick, fun sci-fi story with heart and augmented body parts.
In this sequel to All Systems Red, the plot suffers from failure to execute strong punchline. It doesn’t quite add much to the story already mentioned. But where it shines is the interaction between MurderBot and ART. And through these two characters the author explores friendships, independence and being human.
the writing style is excellent, entertaining, funny, fresh. too short.
Good but not Better than the first one i had fun
ART really is a delight and Murderbot will always be my fave.
Conversations between Murderbot and Transport ship are interesting and have potential.

I love the characterization of murderbot and the fact that while they are relatable they are also clearly not human and as such struggles to embrace human cultural norms while still being a thinking emotional being.
Very fun just like the first one. I just want to keep reading though!
With each book I love Murderbot a little more.
Well worth listening to for SciFi fans. Think a cozier Iain M Banks.
Great story. Fantastic narration by Kevin Free. I love murderbot. It's interesting to see how it's growing as a person and how it's horrifified by that idea.

Very well narrated. Murderbot continues to be frustrated by stupid humans. His internal struggle between his job and his newfound 'friends' proves to be interesting.
Better than the first. Eager for more murderbot fun adventures.
