About this audiobook
#1 New York Times bestselling author MARIE LU meets the Dark Knight himself: BATMAN!
Batman. The Dark Knight. The Caped Crusader. Whatever you know him as and wherever you know him from--the movies, the animated TV show, the millions of comics--Bruce Wayne is proof that you don't need superpowers to be a super hero.
Bruce has just turned eighteen and as he returns home from his lavish birthday party, he stops a criminal's getaway--disobeying the police and crashing his car during the chase. He's sentenced to community service in Gotham City's Arkham Asylum, the mental hospital for the city's worst of the worst. In Arkham, Bruce meets a lot of sinister criminals but the most intriguing one is the teen girl his own age. Madeleine has ties to the Nightwalker gang terrorizing Gotham City, and she'll only speak to Bruce. She's the mystery he has to unravel, but first Bruce has to figure out if he can trust her. Because the Nightwalkers only target the rich, and Bruce's name is next on their list.

Reviews for Batman

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Don't be fooled by the title. Batman is nowhere to be seen in this story. The story is focused one on of Bruce Wayne's earlier adventures/mystery before he donned the cape & cowled. However, this is still a good read. The narrator did a good job with the voices, both male and female alike.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5It's Batman how could it be bad right? I could have done without the foul language used though
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I am loving this whole series so far! Write more write more! Especially of what Bruce will get into next.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5It's a fast read but I was expecting more because it is a Batman being story. Wish there was just more to it.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5It was really good. Narration was good and had various different sounding voices. The story was good and nice to hear about a young Bruce Wayne.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Shows potential, but overall nothing I'd write home about. Not bad, but not great
