      Absolutely wonderful!! How on earth did the author craft such an excellent story?! The narration is beyond superb. This novel contains humor, profundity, and magic. I enjoyed every moment.

      P.S. Paris was not for me. This was my third book from ML. The other two I read (Stanfields & Strange Journey) had intrigue and kept me guessing, wanting more to discover the end—in a good way. Not this one. I just wanted it to wrap up as the plot fell flat. I suppose there was one surprise but it wasn’t enough to hold my attention for long. The relationship between Mia and Paul, tried to be friends despite the gravitational pull, had been used before and was underwhelming. I stuck it out based on my past choices from the author. But it won’t be a novel I’d recommend.

While Mia tries to decide what to do about her philandering husband, Paul visits Korea for a book tour, where his books are surprisingly popular.       What a fun roam the novel, P.S. from Paris was to read. The book is romantic, funny, and touching. I found it very difficult to put down and thus read it in two days.

      After reading several positive reviews of ‘PS From Paris’ by Marc Levy, I had hoped to become readily engaged in this romantic story about, Paul Barton, an American author in Paris, whose best friend signs him up for a dating website. Paul is recovering from a fizzling relationship with his Korean translator, Kyong, who visits him twice yearly, but returns to Korea with unremarkable commitments to the relationship. Meanwhile, Mia is a famous movie star who is taking a break from her philandering husband, and she escapes to Paris incognito and works at her friend’s restaurant as a waitress. Through the dating website, Paul and Mia are begrudgingly paired together, and a friendship ensues, with both partners resisting anything more committed, seeking to escape all the entanglements of a true relationship. Although I found the bantering between Mia and Paul to be entertaining and clever at times, I thought that the novel presented some sluggishness in plot, to which I found disengaging. By the time the novel arrived at its final resolution, I wished for a more concise ending to this love story. I did think, however, that the author’s use of a story within a story, captured my interest to a point, but I wish that the editors might have fleshed out some of the extraneous moments, to consistently capture the reader’s attention.

      MY REVIEW OF "P.S. FROM PARIS' by MARC LEVYI love the scenic descriptions of Paris  in "P.S. From Paris " by Marc Levy. The author creates amazing artistic impressions that I can only visualize. The Opera House, the streets, the hotels, the stores, the cafes, and the Restaurants and the scenic water. I can also taste the food that sounds so delicious. Paris truly sounds like an enchanting place to be.The genres  of this story are Fiction and Romance. The timeline is set in the present. The setting of the story is mostly in Paris, but London, Korea, the United States, and other countries are mentioned.The author describes the characters as complex and complicated. Some characters have secrets and are pretending to be who they are not. Some characters are confused and have to find out who they are.  Mia is a famous actress,  who needs time out from her life.  Paul is an architect, that has become an author, and stays away from publicity. Both Mia and Paul have very good and loyal friends, who just want to see Mia and Paul  happy. Mia and Paul meet through a dating site, and start to become friends. This story is now set in Paris, and isn't Paris known as the city of love?There are some twists and turns and adventure in this story.  There are other characters who cause some problems. There is betrayal and loyalty.  I appreciate that the author describes the significance of friendship, loyalty, trust, honor, love  and hope. I would recommend this charming and entertaining novel for those readers that like Romance. Is it true that Paris is the city of love? Do Mia and Paul find true love?       I first read Marc Levy's "If Only It Were True" years ago. I picked this up because I remember liking it a great deal. Only after reading this did I realize I was thinking of a different book, and that I found the first one annoying. But all in all, it's a good thing I didn't realize I was thinking of another book, because I got this one on the strength of liking the first. This was entertaining-- a quick read well suited to a vacation in the mountains.
