Appalled, Holly investigates. What could have caused the happy-go-lucky boy she remembers to commit such a heinous crime? When another teen commits suicide, she uncovers a horrifying link between the recent deaths and a dark conspiracy to hide the truth.
But someone doesn’t want Holly asking questions and, as she hunts for evidence to prove her theory, she’s dragged into a nightmare that threatens her life and her sanity. Then tragedy strikes again—and this time it’s closer to home…

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Had some strong, unnecessary anti-vax vibes at the end. Was okay for the most part but that has left a bad taste.

Are we sure this is a book by Sibel?
The story was okay but was more of an awareness against Big pharma at a point
In all would rate it a 2.5 - Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Could of been great but too many times I found myself cringing over the main character’s thoughts and actions. I found her constant teariness over someone she hadn’t seen for 14 years over the top and came across as self-pity. Couldn’t finish it.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Holly Gold is a struggling reporter whose life is spiralling out of control. The death of an old school friend and her husband at the hands of their son sets Holly on a voyage of discovery. Unable to believe the person she once knew would kill his parents she sets about trying to discover the truth. This was a fast paced thriller that kept you wanting to know more. The pace and tension gradually increased through the book. The character of Holly was well drawn, you felt her pain and frustration that her recent past was clouding how everyone saw her, but she was determined to carry on to find the truth. Dealing with things such as unethical drug companies and their methods, teenage suicide and depression it encompassed a lot of topical issues, without losing the tension from the story. This is the first Sibel Hodge book I have read and this is definitely an author I will be reading more of.
