- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5To be honest, I’m not too far in, nor do I plan to finish this book. The author goes with the billions of years theory in explaining the timeline from the creation of the universe to humans. It diminishes the omnipotence of God, and dismisses what’s written in the Bible. Imagine someone explaining the miracle of the parting of the Red Sea by natural causes such as if the wind was just right, the tide was low enough, etc. dismissing that God doesn’t rely on the things in his creation or the laws therein to change or create anything within it. As a Christian, I have to say let God be true if it makes every man a liar.
