About this audiobook

At last, here is a book that tells the full story of the turning point in World War II's Battle of the Bulge-the story of five crucial days in which small groups of American soldiers, some outnumbered ten to one, slowed the German advance and allowed the Belgian town of Bastogne to be reinforced. Alamo in the Ardennes provides a compelling, day-by-day account of this pivotal moment in America's greatest war.

I had three relatives fight in The Battle of the Bulge - two are buried somewhere in the Ardennes, the third served in the 101st Airborne-Easy Co. and survived the battle. I always wondered what they actually went through in the face of overwhelming odds by the Nazis’ last yet futile offensive and siege on Bastogne.

This meticulously researched and genuinely articulated account has given me the soul searching insight to theirs and their comrades bravery in the throes of complete chaos that portrays the ultimate sacrifice and guts in standing up against the Nazi scourge of fascism that we, today, ought to cherish as an unyielding bellwether of the highest moral compass in preserving their memory for the greater good, that they few, gave their lives, for generations that followed to thrive in making this a world of peace.

I was riveted by every depiction of what was a pivotal and decisive melee of a military face off during the progressing Allied invasion of Nazi occupied Europe.

Thank you for writing this book.

Gives a clear understanding to a little-known group of soldiers and how their efforts and suffering helped delay Germany's surge during the Battle of the Bulge and give the Allies valuable time to move troops in
