      (Derek & Serena): TRIGGERS: insurance fraud. So quite honestly I didn't think I would like this book right from the start. From the uptight lawyer to the very snooty and uppity female lead. However, once you peel back the layers and the pages you'll find that there's more to both characters than what you initially get to see. Derek is a divorced single father who's an attorney who prefers estate law. He's jaded from his first marriage and swears off getting married again. Serena's father is old and sickly and has gotten himself hooked up with a viper of a young woman who is out to clean out the bank accounts and Serena's trust fund. To do that, she's making plans to show that Serena is not of sound mind. The problem her step monster has is that Derek is in charge of Serena's financial estate so everything she spends is watched by him. These two start off as oil Ava water not even he realizes she's in real trouble he helps her out. The struggle is real when Derek tries to keep things professional but that's why they're called temptations. The two are hot and jealousy is strong. It's an ok read but not the best.

      Began as an interesting story but the author did not draw me in. Something was missing. Have loved many of author’s books so will remain a fan
