About this audiobook
Katie MacAlister
Despite her love for novels, Katie MacAlister didn’t think of writing them until she was contracted to write a non-fiction book about software. MacAlister resolved to switch to fiction, where she could indulge in world building, tormenting characters, and falling madly in love with all her heroes. More than thirty books later, her novels have been translated into numerous languages, recorded as audiobooks, received several awards, and landed on the New York Times, USA Today, and Publishers Weekly bestseller lists. She also writes for the young adult audience as Katie Maxwell.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I do not care about the dragon plotline. Not in the slightest. But that's okay, because there's also the issues Aisling is having with her mentor being in danger, her demon dog Jim eating an imp and the imps being out for revenge, and getting dragged to the demon world by an angry demon lord.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Action, Action, Action, Aisling never gets a break. Jim is ever present and a great fun character, as with some other nasty demons. Drake really develops in this story, love the way he is going ! I can't wait for the next book, so much is going on it is almost too much.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I liked this book as much as the first one in the series, and better than the second one.
~Stephanie - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Wow...I didn't think she would do what she did!! Holy COW! I love Jim!!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Really like Aisling but not loving some of the other characters. Things seem to be getting wackier as the series progresses. I love a decent paranormal type romance but this one isn't quite hitting the mark.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Jim is still my favorite character, but I am getting bored with this series. The characters have not seemed to grow or develop since the first book, and the sex scenes feel forced. I've been listening to this book while I work out, and it doesn't make me want to continue with the series (although I'm not completely crossing it off my list).
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This is the third book in the Aisling Grey Guardian series by Katie MacAlister. I thought that this book was much better than the second book and much more on par with the first book.Aisling is moving to London to start her Guardian training with Nora. Once again right from the beginning things start going wrong. She finds out Nora is being called in for questioning which could lead to Nora losing her rights to mentor Aisling. Then on her first outing with Nora; Jim eats the imp king. Now the imps are out for Aisling's blood. As if this wasn't enough Aisling finds out Drake is in town, the Red Dragons have declared war on Green Dragon sept, the London community wants Aisling to take over as Venediger (sp?), and everyone keeps telling Aisling she is pregnant (which she just can't believe). This book was much better than the last book. I felt like the plot made a lot more sense. Many of the problems Aisling ran into were wrapped up nicely. Aisling and Drake actually start to have a decent relationship with each other. The problems Aisling gets into with the demon princes and with the dragons were interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.As with the other books this is a light, humorous read, that shouldn't be taken too seriously. Aisling gets too whiny at some points, and suffers a bit from being a damsel in distress more often than not. Drake is irritating with his need to control her; but in this book that is tempered some and we see Drake gaining some humanity. This is a quick, easy, and amusing read. There are a lot of sex scenes but they are creative and tastefully done. I am actually very excited to read the next book (which is something I couldn't say after the second book). If you liked the first two books, this book shouldn't disappoint.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Light, Funny, good read!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I like this series, fun, flip, and a quick read. I will always buy Katie MacAlister.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Third in cute romance series featuring Aisling Grey. I really enjoy her demon Jim (Effrajim), who is in the form of a Newfoundland dog and provides great comic relief.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Whenever I start reading these Aisling Grey books, I read all the girly-girl romance crap at the beginning and think to myself, I'm not going to read any more from this series after this one. I just don't have the time with all the other great books I've got waiting on my shelf. However, about halfway into the book, it begins to pick up the pace and grab my interest, and then ends on somewhat of a cliffhanger so that I'm looking forward to the next book again. LOLThis time, Aisling and Drake are romping around London, and as usual, Aisling is doing her best to keep herself alive. She's had one too many close brushes with death, and this time around is no different as she's got no less than three different groups gunning for her! Besides coming into some new, darker powers, she's also had quite a change of heart with regards to on-again/off-again her relationship with Drake, which now appears to be going strong! But if this will continue as her "dark side" continues to tempt her will remain to be seen in the next book.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5In this third installment in the Aisling Grey, Guardian series Aisling has moved to London to become a proper Guardian, training under the only accredited Guardian willing to let her do so.Despite her best efforts to normalise her life she gets further involved in dragon politics as her wyvern mate goes to war with another dragon clan. This is an entirely unwanted complication of her life, coming on top of having become the target of large scale imp attacks due to a small incident involving her New Foundlander shaped demon. She also finds herself involved in a powerstruggle over both the dominion of the Paris otherworld and Armageddon, where bailing out is no option. Who knew being a demonlord was so dangerous?Aisling is as headstrong and clueless in this book as in the previous ones. But she is making an efford to reaching an understanding with the man of her life, while learning what she can of this world she has suddenly become embroiled in.The sexscenes are a bit much, but on the whole the novel is a quick and fun read with a lot of action and comic relief.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Ah, this is convoluted and really needs a recent read of "You Slay Me" and it's sequel, which is why I was a little lost, I've only read the first one before this. It's been a while since I read the first one so I'm not sure if I remember some of the details correctly. This is the story of Aisling being out of her depth, even further than the last story, cause now the supernaturals know about her but she's shockingly uninformed. Honestly if I had been her I would have locked myself in a room for a while reading the material I had been given about the politics and society around her and known what was going on, but I suppose as a way of introducing the reader to the world this is one way of doing it.Enjoyable but not earth-shattering, I did want to shake her a few times.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Aisling Grey's life gets even more complicated in this 3rd novel following her journey into the paranormal world. Ms. MacAlister's use of comedic relief makes this series a joy to read. The book can stand alone, but definately makes more sense if you have read the earlier installments of the series.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5It has been mere months since Aisling first discovered that she was a Guardian, a Wyvern's mate and a demon lord. If that wasn't enough to try and deal with in a small amount of time, Drake's reappearance with a summons to attend a meeting of the green dragon sept sets in motion a whole new set of problems from Aisling. Soon she's at war with with imps, the target of a homicidal dragon (or two or three) and in demand for positions of power that Aisling has neither the time nor the desire to deal with.Poor Aisling. In her third story her life just seems to go from bad to worse. Chaos has nothing on what happens to our heroine during the course of this entry. I'm still enjoying Aisling's tales although her bad luck seems to be rather overwhelming this time around and I'm anxious to see how she turns things around for herself (hopefully) in the next installment.
