This modern fantasy book was about a boy who woke up in an odd world. Everything was odd in his world, his shirt sleeves, his dogs five legs, everything at school. He has a whole odd day and then woke up the next day and everything was overly even.

In One Odd Day, the main character wakes up to see that everything is odd! His clock only shows odd numbers, and he can only find one shoe and one sock. The story goes on and the day gets more odd. A dog with five legs, and a teacher with 9 arms. When he goes back to school, he learns about even numbers, and the next day everything is only in even numbers. His mom even has two heads! I would use this in my class to teach my students about even and odd numbers, they could draw things that had odd numbers connected to them some how, or make things that usually have even numbers have odd numbers.
