- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5As author Madeline Levine asserts at the beginning of Teach Your Children Well, this book aims to strike a balance between the extreme parenting styles du jour that the media is in love with lately. Micro-managing is not the answer, but neither is being more best friend than parent.
