About this audiobook
There is no bigger issue for healthy infants than sleeping through the night. In this simple, straightforward book, Suzy Giordano presents her amazingly effective "Limited-Crying Solution" that will get any baby to sleep for twelve hours at night-and three hours in the day-by the age of twelve weeks old.Giordano is the mother of five children and one of the most sought-after baby sleep specialists in the country. The Washington Post calls her a baby sleep "guru" and "an underground legend in the Washington area for her ability to teach newborns how to achieve that parenting nirvana: sleeping through the night." Her sleep plan has been tested with singletons, twins, triplets, babies with special needs, and colicky babies-and it has never failed.Whether you are pregnant, first-time parents, or parents who seek a different path with your second or third child, anyone can benefit from the Baby Coach's popular system of regular feeding times, twelve hours of sleep at night and three hours of sleep during the day, and the peace of mind that comes with taking the parent and child out of a sleep-deprived world.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Starving your child for 12 hours is just ludicrous. I am sorry I even downloaded this book. It is inhumane.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Lots of good tips and helps you think about and understand the relationship between a feeding and sleeping schedule. As a twin mom I like that her experience is primarily with multiples, and secondarily with singletons. I did not like that she mentions a lot of bad sleep habits that she’s allowed in her program- tummy sleep, sleeping the night in bouncy seats etc. I’d say worth a listen, especially bc it’s short, but the method is only worth taking bits and pieces from.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Short & to the point. makes sense in some respects although, I don't know how a 9lb baby can hold 6-8 ounces at a time and not get sick. I'll add more stars to the 3 if this works!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Good advice for first time mother's, especially those with standard work schedules. Better suited for bottle-fed babies, although the author shows that it can be adapted for breast-fed babies, too. Really won't help you out for the first eight weeks, other than telling you not to create any bad habits with your baby that you will later need to break. Short read. Can be done over the course of a few lunch breaks.
